Djeca i mladi kao konzumenti masovnih medija. Etika i tržišne manipulacije potrebama mladih.
Autorica propitkuje trendove u modernim medijima lišenima svake odgovornosti, obligacija i sankcija. Pokušava definirati značajke medija (...)

In dialogue with conventional narrative research in psychiatry and mental health.Jasna Russo - 2016 - Philosophy, Psychiatry, and Psychology 23 (3):215-228.
First-person accounts of people labeled mad have become an object of increasing interest for nonsurvivor scholars with backgrounds in psychology and psychiatry. In the early stages of my PhD research, I set out to gain a deeper understanding of this expanding body of academic work in the hope of better situating my own project. My PhD explores the possibility of a model of madness collectively developed by the direct owners of the experiences in question. Although a detailed description of that (...)

  6. Hamiltonian Formulation of Statistical Ensembles and Mixed States of Quantum and Hybrid Systems.N. Burić, D. B. Popović, M. Radonjić & S. Prvanović - 2013 - Foundations of Physics 43 (12):1459-1477.
Representation of quantum states by statistical ensembles on the quantum phase space in the Hamiltonian form of quantum mechanics is analyzed. Various mathematical properties and some physical interpretations of the equivalence classes of ensembles representing a mixed quantum state in the Hamiltonian formulation are examined. In particular, non-uniqueness of the quantum phase space probability density associated with the quantum mixed state, Liouville dynamics of the probability densities and the possibility to represent the reduced states of bipartite systems by marginal distributions (...)

Probability in Theories With Complex Dynamics and Hardy’s Fifth Axiom.Nikola Burić - 2010 - Foundations of Physics 40 (8):1081-1087.
    L. Hardy has formulated an axiomatization program of quantum mechanics and generalized probability theories that has been quite influential. In this paper, properties of typical Hamiltonian dynamical systems are used to argue that there are applications of probability in physical theories of systems with dynamical complexity that require continuous spaces of pure states. Hardy’s axiomatization program does not deal with such theories. In particular Hardy’s fifth axiom does not differentiate between such applications of classical probability and quantum probability.

Relations Between Different Notions of Degrees of Freedom of a Quantum System and Its Classical Model.Nikola Burić - 2015 - Foundations of Physics 45 (3):253-278.
There are at least three different notions of degrees of freedom that are important in comparison of quantum and classical dynamical systems. One is related to the type of dynamical equations and inequivalent initial conditions, the other to the structure of the system and the third to the properties of dynamical orbits. In this paper, definitions and comparison in classical and quantum systems of the tree types of DF are formulated and discussed. In particular, we concentrate on comparison of the (...)

Establishing first-person knowledge of madness: Must This Undertaking Elide our Differences?Jasna Russo - 2016 - Philosophy, Psychiatry, and Psychology 23 (3):237-240.
It is encouraging that, in their commentaries, Sarah Carr and Timothy Kelly do not bring the discussion back to the conventional treatment of personal narratives in psychiatry and mental health, but rather take the ideas presented in my paper forward. We seem to agree about the need to disrupt the ultimate interpretative authority of the researcher. This is the point from which both commentaries depart, taking off in their own directions through the thorny questions of how—and indeed whether—any of this (...)

The study focused on entrepreneurial openness and creativity on the entrepreneurial level relative to business growth. Hypotheses were developed and empirically tested in structural equation models using survey data obtained from SMEs’ entrepreneurs in three countries. This study adds to what is known about entrepreneurship and small business management in terms of normative research on firm growth by empirically examining the relationships between the entrepreneurial openness, creative (...)

Lagrangian form of Schrödinger equation.D. Arsenović, N. Burić, D. M. Davidović & S. Prvanović - 2014 - Foundations of Physics 44 (7):725-735.
Lagrangian formulation of quantum mechanical Schrödinger equation is developed in general and illustrated in the eigenbasis of the Hamiltonian and in the coordinate representation. The Lagrangian formulation of physically plausible quantum system results in a well defined second order equation on a real vector space. The Klein–Gordon equation for a real field is shown to be the Lagrangian form of the corresponding Schrödinger equation.

Music plays an important role for adolescents since personal and social identities are formed during this period of life, but they also build musical preferences. Within this paper, an online survey was conducted, which included 200 respondents, i.e. primary school students from five Croatian counties aged 13 and 14. The aim of the research was to find out the musical preferences of students and whether sociodemographic variables and music teaching influence their preferences. The girls showed a slightly greater preference for (...)

A cyborg ontology in health care: traversing into the liminal space between technology and person-centred practice.Jennifer Lapum, Suzanne Fredericks, Heather Beanlands, Elizabeth McCay, Jasna Schwind & Daria Romaniuk - 2012 - Nursing Philosophy 13 (4):276-288.
Person‐centred practice indubitably seems to be the antithesis of technology. The ostensible polarity of technology and person‐centred practice is an easy road to travel down and in their various forms has been probably travelled for decades if not centuries. By forging ahead or enduring these dualisms, we continue to approach and recede, but never encounter the elusive and the liminal space between technology and person‐centred practice. Inspired by Haraway's work, we argue that healthcare practitioners who critically consider their cyborg ontology (...)

Home and place are two interrelated concepts that have overlapping meanings. They are both referring to physical spaces that have meanings and feelings, spaces where common experiences shape and identities are formed. The concepts of home and place are intrinsically linked and are used interchangeably but the most important line that ties these two together is through the notion of belonging and attachment that bind individuals to meaningful spaces. However, there is a gap in the home and place literature about (...)

The precarious rights of senior citizens, especially those who are highly educated and who are expected to counsel and guide the younger generations, has stimulated the creation internationally of advocacy associations and opinion leader groups. The strength of these groups, however, varies from country to country. In some countries, they are supported and are the focus of intense interest; in others, they are practically ignored. For this is reason we believe that the creation of a network of all these associations (...)

Hegla, F.W.J. (...)

Definiuję siedem rodzajów internalizmu/eksternalizmu etycznego: 1) internalizm/eksternalizm racjonalności praktycznej; 2) internalizm/eksternalizm treści; 3) internalizm/eksternalizm sądu; 4) internalizm/eksternalizm oceny; 5) internalizm/eksternalizm w sensie niedookreślonym; 6) internalizm/eksternalizm uznania i 7) internalizm/eksternalizm poznania. Klasyfikacja ta jest jasna i użyteczna. Ilustruję jej stosowalność poprzez ustalenie konkretnego zestawu internalistycznych/eksternalistycznych tez, które powinniśmy przyjąć na gruncie (...)

    Relation between Quality of Pleasure and Quantity of Pleasure in J. S. Mill's Theory of Utilitarianism.Pavel Janda - 2011 - E-Logos 18 (1):1-18.

Tonci Kokic & Josip Balabanic - 2004 - Prolegomena 3 (2):119-134.
The history of the idea of biological progress shows that it is not a selfexplanatory category, so a clear definition is required. Biological progress exists if: “more progressive” is defined as “more complex” – in that case evolution is synonymous with progress, i.e. development from simple to complex, from homogeneous to heterogeneous; we perceive the expression “more progressive” as more successful in relation to the environment, in these terms some groups in the history of life were more progressive because/so that (...)

Istinitost Epikurovih opažaja: The Truthfulness of Epicurus’ Perceptions.

  49. Dwie doktryny cywilizacyjne. Koneczny a Majewski.Robert Piotrowski - 2007 - Archiwum Historii Filozofii I Myśli Społecznej 52.
Filozofie cywilizacji natomiast powinny zostać odłożone do antykwariatu doktryn spekulatywnych.

[…] Autor włożył wiele wysiłku w analizę i interpretację koncepcji Deweya, (...)
