Bunhwang Wonhyo was a philosopher in the Korean Shilla Dynasty. He was a successor to the Buddha's wise thought and merciful life on the basis of One Mind - Reconcilement -Interfusion. His One Mind philosophy opened a new way for researching the human abyss and worldessence. The breadth of his enlightenment also enabled many people to live in the vast sea of Buddha dharma, as his manner of thinking and living opened up completely new, unique, and encompassing vistas well beyond (...) the conventional limits of his age, people, religion and philosophy. Wohyo's One Mind philosophy was based on the One Mind-Two Approaches formulation described in Awakening of Mahāyāna Faith. He was not restricted by the commonly accepted view of Awakening of Mahāyāna Faith, wherein One Mind is understood in light of dualistic opposition of the Combined Consciousness of True and False 1). On the contrary, he applied a different view of One Mind to Combined Consciousness, unlike the Ālaya-vijñāna view of the Consciousness-Only school that tried to understand One Mind as True Consciousness of Great Perfect Mirror Wisdom. Therefore, his understanding of One Mind is very dynamic and elastic. The dynamics and elasticity are also caused by the dualistic structure of Awakening of Mahāyāna Faith, that divides One Mind into two characteristics such as white-clean and dirty-contaminated. Wonhyo, who investigated deeply into the suffering mind in order todetermine whether to classify the unenlightened person and Buddha as two or whether to unify them, also made One Mind open to the Ninth Consciousness without restricting the range of it to Eight Consciousnesses. This ground of understanding is due to Wonhyo's dynamics and Miraculous Understanding. Wonhyo connects One Mind to Tathāgata-garbha, while saying that 'it is called Tathāgata-garbha because the body of One Mind is defined as Original Enlightenment and it causes phenomenon depending on ignorance.' In order to explain this, he 'coins' the expression of Miraculous Understanding and provides expands the existing understanding of One Mind by adding the meaning of Miraculous Understanding to the understanding of One Mind. And heexplains Miraculous Understanding on the basis of the property of Nirmāṇa-kāya that does not adopt inanimate objectivity, which shows that Wonhyo's One Mind exposes the changeable meaning of an absolute aspect and the unchangeable meaning of a phenomenal aspect at the same time. Wonhyo quoted the concept of Miraculous Understanding in order to explain changeability of an absolute aspect rather than its unchangeability, and unchangeability of a phenomenal aspect rather than its changeability. And finally, Wonhyo's Miraculous Understanding of One Mind shows that the real nature of Original Enlightenment is miraculous by itself. And the meaning of Miraculous Understanding belongs in the Ninth Consciousness, Amala-vijñāna, rather than being restricted to the eighth consciousness, Ālaya-vijñāna. In this way, Wonhyo harmonizes the Eight Consciousnesses theory of Awakening of Mahāyāna Faith and the Nine Consciousnesses theory of Vājrasamādhi–Sūtra through dynamics and Miraculous Understanding of One Mind. As a result, Wonhyo enlarged the extension of One Mind understanding by granting the meaning of dynamics and Miraculous Understanding to One Mind, which challenged the existing interpretation of his time. The author argues that opposites-the subject and object, mind and nature, good and evil, truth and falsehood-are not separated from each other but interdependent in the relational paradigm.

This book discusses the structure of Yijing in relation to ideas developed in the West and presents the Jeongyeok to overcome any hierarchical system implied by the Yijing. Both the Yijing and the Jeongyeok are also examined as textual sources for kindling a discussion about divine impersonality and personality for the meeting of East and West.

Storytelling is getting increasing attention as one of the effective strategies for revitalizing the local festivals and even regional economies. Yet, the mechanisms through how storytelling helps the success of local festivals are still relatively less known. Using the data from 322 individuals who participated in local festivals using storytelling, our results showed that local festival storytelling is positively related to tourists’ revisit intention. Furthermore, the positive relationship between local festival storytelling and tourists’ revisit intention was serially mediated by authenticity (...) and positive emotion. The reverse correlation (RC) method has been widely used, because it allows visualization of mental representations without a priori assumptions about relevant dimensions. We employed the RC method to visualize mental representations of self and examined their relationships with traits related to self-image. For this purpose, 110 participants (70 women) performed a two-image forced choice RC task to generate a classification image of self (self-CI). Participants perceived their self-CIs as bearing a stronger resemblance to themselves than did CIs of others (...) (filler-CIs). Valence ratings of participants who performed the RC task (RC sample) and of 30 independent raters both showed positive correlations with self-esteem, explicit self-evaluation, and extraversion. Moreover, valence ratings of independent raters were negatively correlated with social anxiety symptoms. On the other hand, valence ratings of the RC sample and independent raters were not correlated with depression symptoms, trait anxiety, or social desirability. The results imply that mental representations of self can be properly visualized by using the RC method. (shrink)

지역학에서 회자되는 ‘지역’의 개념은 상당히 모호한 것으로 알려져 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 첫째, 후설의 생활세계의 개념을 ‘지역’이라 간주하고 ‘지역’의 개념을 현상학적으로 그려내면서 그것의 구조를 ‘지평’과 ‘시간성’으로 파악해낸다. 둘째, 긍정심리학자 칙센트미하이의 이론을 끌어들여, 그러한 지역의 구조는 플로우(행복)의 초월론적 조건이라고 해석한다. 마지막으로 이런 논의를 통해 ‘지역’과 ‘행복’은 불가분의 관계에 놓여 있음을 밝히면서, ‘행복한 지역’의 개념을 수립한다. 더군다나 이런 ‘행복지역학’은 어떤 지역이라도 ‘행복한 지역’으로 탈바꿈시킬 수 있는 실제적 가이드라인을 제시하는데, 이것은 기존의 도시계획에서는 찾아볼 수 없는 것이다.

우리 사회는 전례 없는 고령화 시대에 접어들었다. 지속적으로 진행되는 노화는 여러 가지 부정적인 감정을 동반한다. 우리가 살아가는 인생의 각 시기는 누구나 자신에게는 처음의 시간이다. 나이가 든다고 저절로 지혜로워지는 것은 아니다. 나이가 들면 우리는 삶의 가장 본질적인 부분을 다루는 철학에 관심을 갖게 마련이다. 반면 우리 사회에서 노년기에 대한 논의는 복지 분야에 집중되어 있기에 보다 풍성한 철학적 담론이 요청된다. 본 논문은 노년이 삶을 예술작품으로 조형함으로써 자존감을 회복하는 길을 모색하고자 한다. 리쾨르에 따르면 자기존중은 곧 자기해석이다. 자존감은 자기가 해석할 수 있는 능력을 가졌으며 선한 (...) 삶을 목표로 심사숙고한 선택을 따를 줄 아는 존재라는 것을 인정할 때 얻어진다. 이는 자신이 선한 삶을 추구하며 살아가는 윤리적 주체임을 증명하는 일이다. 자기존중은 타자를 배려해야 얻을 수 있기에 타자로 말미암아 만들어지는 자기해석이다. 자기해석과 실천이 따를 때 연륜은 성숙과 확장의 능동적인 과정이 되어 예술로서의 삶을 조형하게 될 것이다. 노년은 많은 사회적 관계들보다는 진정성이 있는 소수의 관계에 집중해야 할 때이다. 친애에 대한 해석학적 고찰은 노년담론에서 시사하는 바가 크다. 본고는 리쾨르의 자기성 형성에 있어서 자기존중과 타자배려의 과정에서 드러나는 조화와 새로움의 생성, 신뢰를 지키는 일관성의 맥락이 실존미학으로 귀결될 수 있음을 증명함으로써 노년에게 예술로서의 삶을 제시하고자 한다. Joseon neo-Confucianism critically reviewed Chinese Chu Zi Studies and transformed it as Joseon seonglihak through intense debates occurred in the process of trying to settle down the problems raised in the contemporary Joseon society. The representative theories of Joseon seonglihak includes sadanchiljeongron(四端七情論, the theory of the Four Beginnings and the Seven Feelings), inmulseongdongiron (人物性同異論, the theory of whether human nature and animal nature are the same or different), seongbeomsimdongbudongron (聖凡心同不同論, the theory of whether the mind of the nobler man and (...) that of the inferior man arethe same or different), mibalon (未發論, the theory of not-yet-aroused). Among these, this article traces the originality of Joseon seonglihak by means of comparing the sadanchiljeongron of Lee Hwang(Toegye, 1501-1570) with the mibalon of Lee Gan (Oeam, 1677-1727). The clause that 'the nature is li [性卽理]' is the central proposition in Chu Zi Studies, whereas the clause that 'the Four Beginnings are the arousal of li [四端理之發]' is the central proposition in Lee Hwang's theory. The clauses that 'the nature is identified with the mind [心性一致]', that 'the nobler man takes li to be the mind', and that 'the mind is the nature and the nature is the mind' are the main claims made by Lee Gan. Chu Hsi takes the nature (the original nature) to be li, Lee Hwang takes the feeling (the Four Beginnings) to be li, and Lee Gan takes the mind (the original mind) to be li. These claims made by Lee Hwang and Lee Gan are fundamentally different from Chu Hsi's theory of mind and nature. (shrink)

본 논문은 플라톤의『프로타고라스』편에 있는 탁월함(aretē)의 교육 가능성에 대한 논쟁의 구도에서 리더십 교육(지도자 양성 교육)이 이율배반과 같은 상황에 놓여 있음을 밝히고자 한다. 프로타고라스가 가르칠 수 있다고 말한 탁월함은 어떤 직종에서나 필요한 “장인의 기술(dēmiourgikē technē)”이 아니라 공동체 혹은 나라를 잘 운영할 수 있는 “시민적 훌륭함(politikē aretē)” 또는 “정치적 기술(politikē technē)”을 의미한다. 그런데 소크라테스는 이러한 탁월함이 교육될 수 없다고 주장하면서 프로타고라스와 논쟁을 벌인다. 이 논쟁은 사실 결론을 내리지 못한 채로 마치게 된다. 그런데 오늘날 지도자를 교육으로 양성할 수 있다는 생각이 거의 일반화되어 있다. 따라서 (...) 다양한 종류의 지도자 양성 교육프로그램이 진행되고 있다. 그러나 지도자양성 교육은 프로타고라스와 소크라테스가 “시민적 훌륭함”을 교육할 수 있는지를 두고 논쟁한 것과 같은 문제에 빠질 수 있다. 그리고 본 필자는 이 문제가 마치 이율배반의 문제와 같다고 생각한다. 왜냐하면 “지도자를 교육으로 양성할 수 있다.”라는 주장도 가능하지만, 동시에 “지도자를 교육으로 양성할 수 없다.”라는 주장도 가능할 수 있기 때문이다. 이러한 이율배반의 문제를 해소하거나 제대로 성찰하지 않은 상태에서 지도자 양성교육을 수행하는 것은 일종의 독단이 될 수 있을 것이다. 이 글에서는 지도자 양성 교육의 이율배반 문제의 해소방안으로 지도자 양성 교육이 가능하다는 입장과 불가능하다는 입장의 부정적 자기 관계성을 제시한다. The author of this paper aimed to understand the early Buddhism community in its entirety by examining the individual episodes in the "Mahavagga". There is a remarkable experience of the psychic power between the Buddha and the Brahmins. They are both aware of coming across of psychic forces that entered the way to the Buddhist Community. Using the brahmins mythology as a instrument for missionary work, the early Buddhism brings people close to Buddha's community. The Buddha visited Uruvela-Kassapa and took (...) lodging for the night where the sacred fire was kept, in spite of Kassapa's warning that the spot was inhabited by a fierce Naga. The Buddha, by his magical powers, overcame, first this N ganad then another, both of whom vomited fire and smoke. Kassapabeing pleased with this exhibition of iddhi-power, undertook to provide the Buddha with his daily food. The Buddha spent the whole rainy season there, performing, in all, three thousand five hundred miracles of various kinds, reading the thoughts of kassapa, splitting firewood for the ascetic sacrifices, heating stoves for them to use after bathing in the cold weather, etc. Still Kassapa persisted in the thought, "The great ascetic is of great magic power, but he is not anarahant like me." Finally the Buddha decided to startle him by declaring that he was not an arahant, neither did the way he followed lead to arahantship. Thereon kassapa owned defeat and reverently asked for ordination. The Buddha asked him to consult with his pupils, and they cut off their hair and threw it with their sacrificial utensils into the river and were all ordained. Nadi Kassapa and Gaya Kassapa were ordained with their pupils. At Gay sisa the Buddha preached to them the Fire Sermon, and they all attained arahantship for the early Buddhist Community. The episode of Uruvela Kassaps in the Mahavagga text ultimately idealizes the power of psychic and the start of the community. It is probable, even at the time when the episode were written, that as a matter of fact every one, in ordinary daily life, spoke imply the vernaculars in a much more simple and natural state of society. It is the Mahavagga authors, when addressing a cultured public at a date when the vernaculars had become the paramount literary language. Another point is that though brahmins take part in the religious and philosophical conversations of those early tims, and in the accounts of them are always referred to with respect, and threaten with the same courtesy that they always themselves extended also to others, yet they hold no predominant position. The majority of the ascetic, and the most influential individuals among them, are not brahmins. That is only a matter of course will be the obvious subjection. The Mahavagga texts I quotes, if not the work of bitter opponents, were at leastcomposed under India bramins influence, and are prejudiced against the brahmins. (shrink)

이 글은 칸트 특유의 ‘실천이성’ 개념을 중심으로 칸트의 행위이론을 다룬다. 먼저, 칸트의 고유한 이성 개념, 즉 ‘실천이성’의 의미를 분명히 한 뒤, 도덕 외적인 차원까지 포괄하여 칸트의 행위 개념을 고찰한 다음, 칸트 철학에서 도덕적 행위이론을 위한 전제들을 탐구한다(Ⅱ). 다음으로, 자연인과성에서 귀결되는 행위 일반과는 다른 종류의 인과성 및 다른 행위의 가능성을 탐구한 뒤, 『도덕형이상학 정초』의 실천이성과 의지의 동일시 논변을 중심으로 자유로운 행위의 성립 조건과 실천적 필연성 혹은 이성의 강요(필연화)를 살펴본다(Ⅲ). 이를 통해 이 글은 도덕적 행위에 대한 칸트의 설명이 훨씬 더 복잡한 중층 (...) 구조를 지닌다는 점을 부각하고자 했다. 모리스 메를로-퐁티의 신체 주체론이 함축하고 있는 인격 개념은 새로운 윤리를 보여주고 있는 메를로-퐁티의 도덕적 주체의 진면목을 보다 분명하게 드러내 준다. 익명성의 층위를 내포하는 메를로-퐁티적인 인격은 절대적 자기동일성의 견고함 속에서 수련을 통한 인격적 고양으로 도덕성을 실현하는 그러한 인격이 아니다. 인격이 익명성의 층위를 내포한다는 것은 인격이라는 말 자체가 전제하고 있는 이분화 혹은 불일치를 내부로 흡수한다는 것이고, 이것은 인격이 타자와의 관계 속에서 형성되는 것임을 뜻한다. 이를테면 메를로-퐁티의 인격 개념은 인격의 원래 의미인 페르소나에 가깝다. 페르소나가 타자와의 관계에 따르는 것처럼 메를로-퐁티의 인격은 자기 자신과의 불일치를, (...) 즉 익명성을 내포하면서 타자와의 관계 속에서 만들어지는 것이다. 관계주의적 윤리학의 모습을 보여주고 있는 메를로-퐁티 윤리학은 오늘날 그 중요성이 더욱 강조되고 있는 공동체 정신 함양에 도움이 될 것이다. 본 논문은 조선 말기에 활동한 우성규와 일제강점기에 활동한 신성섭의 활동 양상을 통해 조선 중기 때 금호강과 낙동강이 합류하는 대구 지역에 형성된 한강 정구에서 낙재 서사원으로 이어지는 학맥과 도통 의식이 300년 동안 이어져 내려왔음을 규명하고자 했다. 우성규와 신성섭은 금호강 하류일대에 구곡을 경영하고 구곡가를 지으면서 한강 정구와 낙재 서사원을 떠올렸다. 대구지역에는 몇몇 유학자들이 구곡을 경영하면서 구곡가를 지었는데, 여기에서 자신의 학맥과 도학의 연원을 정구와 서사원에 두고 있는 것은 우성규와 신성섭 두 사람의 경우이다.BR 우성규는 이뿐만 아니라 일찍이 칠곡부사 시절 정구와 깊은 관련이 있는 녹봉정사와 (...) 사양서원, 관어대 등을 찾았다. 그리고 낙향 후 서찬규와 이종기 등 일대의 유림 80여 명과 어울려 낙강선유를 했을 때도 정구와 서사원을 떠올렸으며, 낙강선유 자체도 일찍이 서사원이 행했던 선사선유의 행적을 따랐던 것이다.BR 이를 통해 금호강이 낙동강과 합류하는 하류 지역, 곧 대구를 중심으로 한 낙동강 중류 지역 일대에는 조선 중기에 형성된 한강 정구에서 낙재 서사원으로 이어진 낙동강 중류 지역 유학의 학맥과 도통 의식이 300년이 되도록 끊어지지 않은 채 면면히 이어졌음을 알 수 있다. 매월당 김시습은 조선조를 대표하는 학자로서 수양대군의 왕위찬탈 사건의 불의함을 보 고 당시의 현실에 항거하여 은둔과 유랑의 삶을 선택한 생육신 가운데 한 명이다. 이 글은 매월당의 유불도 삼가사상 가운데 도가사상에 초점을 맞춰 그의 학문관을 살펴보고자 한 것이다. 이 글은 특히 매월당이 본 장자관의 기본입장이 무엇인지 살펴보는 것이 목표이다. 매월당은 자신의 시대가 장자가 언급한 인간세와 같다고 규정한다. 인간세란 기본적으 로 인간이 살아가는 세상을 가리킨다. 그러나 장자는 특히 정치적 혼란의 상황으로 야기된 난세를 지칭하여 인간세라고 규정한다. 매월당은 이러한 장자의 사상을 계승하여 자신의 시대를 인간세라고 (...) 규정한 후 그 위에서 펼쳐지는 갖가지 병폐들을 지적하면서 이에 대한 반성을 촉구한다. 여기서 대안으로 제시되는 것이 장자적 의미의 자연세계를 대변하는 도 교적 천상의 세계이며, 신선에로의 변화 가능성을 꿈꾸어보는 것이었다. 매월당은 인간세의 한계를 극복하는 방편으로써 인간세의 가치 덕목이라 할 수 있는 외 물에 대한 부정적인 태도와 이를 통한 거리두기의 입장을 취한다. 매월당은 외물에 대한 거리두기 차원에서 장자의 좌망에 주목하고 무사, 무려와 같은 무심의 마음상태를 간직해 야 함을 강조한다. 이러한 맥락에서 매월당은 방내인의 삶의 한계를 비판함과 동시에 방외 인의 삶이 가지고 있는 철학적 의의에 대해 주목하기도 한다. 그가 방내인이 이해하기에 곤란한 미친 행동을 보인 것이라던가, 평생 졸박한 삶의 태도로 일관한 것, 그리고 자기 자신을 가리켜 기형아와 같은 사람이라고 평가하면서 한 세상을 살아간 것은 매월당의 삶 의 자취가 장자철학과 밀접하게 연관된 방외인의 삶 그 자체였음을 알려준다. 저개발국 빈곤 여성을 대상으로 한 개발은 인간으로서의 도덕적 의무로, 혹은 인도주의적 관점에서 정당화되기도 하고, 국제정치, 경제적 관점에서 분석되 기도 한다. 그중 개발옹호론은 개인의 능력 강화와 삶의 질 향상을 통해 구조적 불평등이 개선될 수 있다고 낙관한다. 이 논의는 자유주의적 관점에서 개인의 능력 신장이 구조적 불평등 개선으로 나아갈 수 있다고 보지만, 구조적 불평등으로 인해 개발의 장으로 나아가지 못하는 사람들에 대해서는 침묵한다. 개발비판론은 국가 간 권력관계 속에서 공여국의 개발 행위가 오히려 수원국인 개도국의 저개발을 영속시킴으로써 초국적 국제분업을 통해 개발의 이익을 흡수하고 있다고 비판한 다. (...) 하지만 이 논의는 국가간 권력관계에는 주목하면서도 저개발국 내부의 성별 권력관계에 대해서는 별 관심을 두지 않았다. 페미니스트들은 개발을 통한 여성역 량강화와 개발의 가능성을 긍정하면서도, 사회구조가 바뀌지 않는 한, 성 평등을 이루기 쉽지 않을 것이라고 전망했다. 이들은 성 불평등 극복을 위해 구조내 성별 권력관계의 변화가 선행되어야 한다고 보았다. 영(Young)은 사회 부정의의 원인이 구조적 불평등에 있다고 지적함으로써 페미니스트들의 분석과 맥을 같이 한다. 그러나 그녀는 구조적 불평등 개선에 ‘제3자’ 역할의 중요성을 강조한다. 영은 지구 반대편에 살고 있는 우리들이 개도국 여성들이 겪는 구조적 부정의와 불평등 해소 에 나서야하는 이유를 ‘관계적’ 입장에서 파악한다. 선진국, 공여국의 ‘제3자들’은 개도국 여성의 고통과 무관한 존재가 아니라, 전지구적 부정의와 불평등 생산의 책임을 갖고 있고, 그것의 변화에 참여해야할 책임을 가진, ‘사회적으로 연결된’ 존재들이다. 영의 사회적 연결 모델은 개발에 대한 공여국 주민으로서의 책임을 일깨우고, 저개발국 빈곤 여성과 함께 사회구조적 변화를 향해 나아가야할 연대의 주체로 호명하며, 구조의 변환에 나서도록 독려한다. 정치철학자 아이리스 영(Iris Young)은 사회구조적 부정의에 대해 행위자들이 책임을 갖고 개입하기 위해서는 그저 개인 행위자의 관점에서만 책임을 묻는 게 아니라 구조적 관점에서 책임을 구상하는 모델이 요구된다고 주장한다. 영은 이러한 책임 모델을 “사회적 연결 모델(social connection model)”이라고 명명하고 있다. 그에 따르면, 구조적인 문제에 대해 제기되는 책임의 형태인 ‘정치적 책임’은 (영이 “법적 책임(liability) 모델”이라고 명명하는) 기존의 개인적-원자론적인 책임과 크게 5가지 측면(책임의 고찰 방법, 대상, 방향, 주체, 실현방식)에서 대비된다.BR 본고에서 나는 사회적 연결 모델에서 가장 핵심적인 지점으로 간주되는 미래지향적 책임과 과거지향적 책임 사이의 (...) 구분에 대해 논의하려 한다. 영에 따르면, 기존의 도덕적 책임은 과거 행위에 대한 비난 혹은 처벌에 초점을 맞춰왔으나, 부정의한 사회구조적 과정에 대해 이러한 비난중심적 접근은 유의미하지 않다. 따라서 정치적 책임은 과거의 개별 행위를 비난하거나 처벌하는 대신, 이 부정의한 상태를 개선하는 미래지향적 방향에 중점을 둔다.BR 영의 이 구분은 사회적 연결 모델에 대한 논의에서 가장 핵심적인 논쟁지점이 되어 왔는데, 대표적으로 『정의를 위한 책임』 서문에서 마사 누스바움(Martha Nussbaum)은 책임의 두 방향성에 대한 구분이 유지될 수 없다는 반론을 제기한다. 두 책임성은 서로 얽혀 있을 수밖에 없으며, 이를 개념적으로 엄밀하게 구분하는 것은 가능하지 않다는 것이다. 더욱이 비난성이라는 요소를 책임에서 제거할 때, 이와 같은 의미에서의 책임은 매우 무력해진다는 반론이 제시된다. 우리는 누스바움의 비판 및 유사한 비판적 논의를 추가로 살펴본 뒤, 사회적 연결 모델을 방어하는 입장에서 이 비판들에 답변을 모색할 것이다. 이 답변은 구조적 과정 속에서 책임이 발생하는 근거와 의미를 재확인하고, 이를 통해 행위자들에게 정치적 책임이 어떻게 주어지는가를 해명하는 방식으로 이루어진다. 이 글의 목적은 아이리스 영(Iris Marion Young)의 차이의 정치에 대한 해명을 시도하 고 그에 관한 비판적 검토를 수행하는데 있다. 영은 기본적으로 사회정의의 관심사가 개인 이 추구하는 좋은 삶의 가치들을 각자 자유롭게 실현해 나가는데 필요한 사회 구조와 체계 를 마련하는데 있어야 한다고 생각한다. 영은 한 사회가 개인의 권리와 자유에 대한 동등 한 고려와 존중을 토대로 하는 정의의 원칙에 따라 개인과 집단의 행동을 규정하는 사회의 기본구조에 대한 도덕적 판단을 수행하는 것만으로는 정의로운 사회를 실현할 수 없다고 본다. 왜냐하면 영은 그러한 분배 지향적 (...) 정의론은 사회에 깊숙이 고착화된 구조적 부정의 의 문제를 직접적으로 다룰 수 없다고 생각하기 때문이다. 영은 이런 생각을 “정의관은 분배에 초점을 맞추기보다는 지배와 억압이라는 개념에서 시작해야 한다.”고 표현한다. 따라서 영은 분배 지향적 정의론의 한계를 극복하기 위해 사회에 존재하는 구조적 부정의 의 면면들을 드러내는 동시에 그런 구조적 부정의를 해결해나갈 수 있는 실천적 방법론을 모색한다. 영에게 있어 정의로운 사회는 개인이 자신의 고유성과 개별성을 자유롭게 표현 하고 의견을 제시할 수 있는 사회, 억압과 지배가 없는 사회다. 영이 볼 때 우리가 그런 사 회로 나아가기 위해 추구해야할 정치는 바로 차이의 정치다. 우리는 먼저 영이 분배 지향 적 정의론에 대해 갖는 불만이 무엇인지 확인한 후에 그녀가 추구하는 정의론과 차이의 정 치가 무엇인지 살펴볼 것이다. 이어서 차이의 정치를 비판적으로 검토하고 그 의의와 한계 를 정리하고자 한다. 결론에서는 아이리스 영의 차이의 정치는 억압과 지배를 양산하는 사 회 구조를 허물고 공론장에 타자성을 수용할 수 있는 다원주의 정치질서의 한 형태를 보여 준다고 평가할 것이다. 동시에 그러한 정치는 좋은 삶과 정의에 대한 문제들을 구분하지 않는 방식을 채택하면서 현존하는 질서의 틀을 수정하고 확장해나갈 때 차이의 인정을 통 한 구조적 부정의의 해체와 진정한 자유와 해방이라는 정의의 이념에 다가설 수 있다고 주 장할 것이다. Zusammenfassung Nachwuchsathleten befinden sich in einer Lebensphase, die durch erhebliche soziale, psychische und physiologische Veränderungen charakterisiert ist. Diese Transformationen beeinflussen die sportliche Karriere und die Entwicklung der Athleten grundlegend. Gerade im Spitzensport kann insbesondere der Wachstumsprozess zu spezifischen, bisher in der soziologischen Forschung weitgehend vernachlässigten Problemlagen führen. Der Artikel untersucht Entstehungsbedingungen und die soziale Bedeutung wachstumsbedingter Krisen im Kontext des Nachwuchsleistungssports. Zugrunde liegt eine sozialkonstruktivistische Perspektive auf den Prozess des Aufwachsens und die Körpersozialisation von Nachwuchsathleten. Die biologische und soziale Bedingtheit (...) des Körpers wird als ko-konstruktiv konzeptionalisiert. Ausgehend von qualitativen Interviews und teilnehmenden Beobachtungen im deutschen Nachwuchsleistungssport zeigen sich vier typische Problemlagen: Fehlpassung, Asynchronität, Bezugsgruppenwechsel und Überlastungen. Elders) 등과 같은 여러 학자들 사이에서 종종 논쟁거리가 되어 왔다. 그 중에서도 용기라는 덕은 아리스토텔레스와 토마스 아퀴나스 사이에 있었던 논쟁들 중의 핵심적인 요소였다. 예를 들면, 드용(R. K. 다석의 ‘가온찍기’ 리더십 정신은 자연을 훼손하면서 되돌려 받은 패닉 상태의 인류에게 이 위기를 벗어날 수 있는 바른 길의 대안을 제시한다. 이는 ‘늘 살림’[常道]의 정신을 통한 인간과 자연과의 조화를 이루는 방식이다. 자연과 인간의 관계를 친화적 관계로 회복하고 온갖 것을 본래의 자리로 되돌아오게 하는 리더십 정신이다. 도의 가온으로부터 일어나는 ‘늘 살림’의 무한 에너지는 무궁무진하고 ‘줄곧 하나’로 뚫려있어 생겨나지도 없어지지도 않 는다. 이는 아무리 써도 다 함이 없어 소모시킬 방법이 없다. 모든 것은 이러한 살림의 기운 이 솟아나는 도의 가온 자리로 돌아가야 본래의 자기(慈己)를 (...) 회복할 수 있게 된다. 천지만물은 ‘늘 살림’의 길을 따라 서로 돕고 화해하며 발전하고 스스로 성장한다. 인간 은 가온의 생명흐름이 온통하나로 이어지고 있음을 체득함으로써 ‘잘사는 삶’[善攝生]을 살 수 있다. 인간은 스스로 사는 것이 아니라 도의 늘 돕는 저절로 된길[常輔自然]을 따라 잘 사는 것이다. 이에 따른 인간 ‘속알’[德]은 천지상합에 따른 ‘고른 어울림’[自均自化]을 통하여 인간의 존재 의미를 지켜 살림의 길을 추구할 수 있는 길을 마련 할 수 있다. 그리 고 사회의 이로움을 되돌려 주는 공익의 ‘세상 본보기’[天下式]를 구현하게 된다. 이는 세 상의 흐름과 인간이 늘 살림줄로 이어짐을 알고 그것을 지켜 사회구성원간의 친화적 공생 사회를 만들어 나가는 것이다. 도가 펼치는 ‘늘 살림’의 본보기는 인간의 현묘하고 또 현묘한 삶의 과정에서 고른 변화 를 통하여 본래의 삶을 유지할 수 있게 그 근거를 제공한다. 만물의 존귀함을 알고 지켜 행함으로써 자연과의 공생을 이루는 리더십이다. 변혁의 중심에 서있는 자연과 인간을 조 화와 화해의 길로 이끌어 만물의 진정한 생명살림의 본보기를 세우는 것이다. 세상을 구성 하고 있는 모든 것들은 서로 뗄 수 없고 구별할 수도 없는 하나의 살림줄로 이어져 있다. 늘 살림의 가온찍기 리더십 정신은 도가 스스로 펼치는 자연함으로 우주의 모든 것의 마음을 단 하나로 묶는 총체적 개념이다. 그리고 꼬인 실타래와 같은 세상 일의 실마리를 찾 아 늘 살림줄로 잇고 사회 구성원 간의 공존의 살림살이를 구현하게 된다. 본문에서는 정치철학자 아이리스 영의 사회적 연결 모델에서 발생하는 정치적 책임의 주체 문제를 논의한다. 영은 사회구조적 부정의에 참여하는 모든 구성원들이 정치적 책임을 공유한다고 주장한다. 나는 이러한 부정의에의 참여라는 조건이 정치적 책임의 조건이라는 원칙, 즉 ‘한정 원칙(limiting principle)’의 타당성을 검토한다. 이를 위해 나는 마티아스 군네미르가 한정 원칙에 대해 제기하는 비판, 즉 구조적 부정의에 대한 참여는 정치적 책임의 충분조건도 필요조건도 되지 못한다는 비판을 상세히 검토하고, 이에 대해 영의 입장에서 가능한 답변을 모색한다. 이때 답변의 핵심은 구조적 부정의를 그저 개인이 아닌 사회 집단 층위에서 관찰, (...) 서술하고 구성원들이 이에 대해 책임을 지는 데 있다. 이처럼 집단적으로 확장된 책임 원리는 사회구조적 참여가 정치적 책임의 필요조건임과 동시에 충분조건임을 설명할 수 있는 근거가 된다. This paper is a short report about a series of picture books and manuals designed for P4C (especially Philosophy for Korean Young Children). There were not proper educational reading materials or books to help Korean young children to think by (or for) themselves and dialogue with. Dr. Sharp’s is a very helpful guidebook for young children to think by themselves, dialogue with friends, and discuss with others (peers, older or younger children, teacher and parents, etc.). However, there (...) remain some needs for consideration of Korean culture. I developed new eight picture books for young children and short manuals for parents and teachers to do ‘thinking experiments’ with children. The stories were created in the contexts of Korean young children’s daily lives and typical episodes. The community of inquiry, which Korean young children participate in, needs to consider general and special aspects, such as the relationship between peers, children-parents, and children-teachers, Confucius or new western customs, new and old generations, moral and cultural atmosphere of Korean kindergartens or childcare centers, etc. Various episodes and scenes in the picture books will revoke and encourage Korean children’s deeper or higher thinking, interesting and creative dialogues, vivid and harmonious discussions based on their own experiences and contexts of life in the community of inquiry. 이 글의 주목적은 국내외 철학계에서 거의 수용된 바 없는 청년 짐멜의 ‘철학적 윤리학’ 비판을 칸트의 ‘정언명령’에 대한 그의 논의를 중심으로 고찰하는 것이다. 구체적 분석의 대상이 되는 텍스트는????도덕과학입문. 윤리학의 기본개념들에 대한 비판????(Einleitung in die Moralwissenschaft. Eine Kritik der ethischen Grundbegriffe) 1, 2권이다. 부차적으로 나는 그가 말하는 ‘기술적 윤리학’(deskriptive Ethik)이 훗날 루만이 내놓는 도덕사회학적 명제를 이미 상당부분 선취하고 있음을 시사하고자 한다. 짐멜은 철학적 윤리학이 사용하는 기본 개념들의 의미와 경계가 종종 불확실하고 동일한 개념이 완전히 상반된 원리들과 결합될 수 있다고 지적하였다. 바로 이러한 윤리학의 (...) 기본개념들을 비판하고 이를 통해 도덕 현상에 대한 하나의 과학을 예비하겠다는 것이 짐멜의 목표이다. 나는 정언명령에 대한 그의 논의를 단서로 해서 그가 어떻게 철학적 윤리학 내부로부터 비판적 재구성을 통해 도덕사회학적 사고로 나아가는지를 세밀하게 밝히고자 한다.
