Cet article explore les fondements contemporains d’une éthique du lien familial, et plus largement du lien humain, dans la perspective d’une réflexion pluridisciplinaire. Il commente les questions posées par la montée en puissance des éthiques du care et par la fragilisation du lien dans la culture occidentale. Est explorée notamment la difficulté posée par le défaut d’étayage et de « portance » du monde adulte, renvoyant les adolescents à négocier dans une forme de solitude des rites initiatiques qui prennent une (...) configuration autarcique. Ce défaut de portance concernerait aussi la culture dans son ensemble, soutenant faiblement les acteurs de la scène familiale et éducative dans l’espace de légitimité qu’ils ont sans cesse à créer. Although the demarginalisation of youths is an international concern, South African youths are viewed by various scholars and policy documents as a particularly vulnerable and marginalised group. It becomes essential to understand what characterises their marginalisation in order to find innovative ways to work towards their demarginalisation. In this article we reflect on current faith-based concerns and compare this with the specific characteristics of the marginalisation of young people. In an effort to contribute to the development of a strategy towards (...) demarginalisation, we will explore the key features of the Circle of Courage in terms of the principles of belonging, mastery, independence and generosity. We will further propose the inclusion of Ubuntu principles in the practical application of the Circle of Courage for churches and faith-based organisations in demarginalising youth in the South African context. In this paper about Chile, Weber's taxonomy of rational behavior is used together with a genetic-structural approach to explain chilean political life, which can be understood by the following variables : a mean demography, an authoritarian and religious culture, a capitalistic, dependent and under-developed economy, an hybrid social stratification, a centralised state characterized by an higly developed burocracy.In such a context the «Popular Unity» results from a specific acculturationof antagonistic ideologies related to different social strata, to competitive political groups as (...) welt as to rival pressure groups. In the short term ; the confiicting interests might coexist thanks to a growing social support motivated by a superficial economie nationalism, emotional anti-capitalistic feelings and the rise in the income of the popular and middle classes strata.On the other hand, the left government, divided by social, political and ideological oppositions was unable to run the civil service, to structure a congruent economic policy and to face international or national subversion. La solution proposé consiste à rappeler qu'avant ?être commune, la croyance a été communiquée dans un contexte privilégié, appelé ici dialogue référentiel. On tire alors (...) les conséquences, ?abord sur la fonction de référence, ensuite sur ľélargissement qu'il faut apporter aux conditions de base ?une théorie de la signification, si ľon veut tenir compte de ce procés de maximisation lui‐même.SummaryIn order to discuss the applicability of Tarski's convention T to a theory of meaning, we have to draw a distinction between two aspects of communication. On the one hand, we have to consider the grounding of communication in a network of common beliefs. On the other hand, and indeed primarily, maximizing the epistemic agreement between locutors is essential to communication. The solution proposed consists in showing that, before becoming common, a belief has to be communicated in a priviledged context, i. e. in a so‐called “referential dialogue”. Consequences are drawn first upon the role of reference, secondly upon the necessary extension of the basic conditions for a theory of meaning, in order to give an account of the maximizing process itself.
