Ledure présente la thèse selon laquelle le christianisme doit accepter une réévaluation fondamentale accompagnée des nécessaires mises en perspective historique. De cette phase critique devraient sortir de nouveaux positionnements. Car l’historicité radicale du christianisme l’entraîne dans une perpétuelle évolution ainsi qu’un parcours d’incarnation et une aventure spirituelle originale. Telle est la condition pour que s’ouvrent, pour le christianisme, de nouveaux horizons permettant une évaluation positive de son aventure. Geiger considers dilettantism as an aesthetic attitude (inner concentration) that undermines the subject's ability to truly perceive the essential value of the artwork and thus calls for outer concentration to actualize the justice of the work itself. Geiger's position suggests that we must pay equitable attention to artworks and that this attitude requires a theory of aesthetic perception -- phenomenological realism. However, the complexity of the aesthetic experience presents Geiger with several challenges, not least of which is the realisation of (...) an attitude that bridges emotion and value in aesthetic experience. This paper will attempt to defend and develop the legitimacy of Geiger's position. First, I will clarify Geiger's critique of dilettantism and suggest how this critique distinguishes him from other aesthetic claims; second, I argue that Geiger argues for an aesthetic attitude that distinguishes everyday emotions and thus ensures the value of the work of art as its own; finally, I will complete Geiger's position by drawing on later phenomenology that answers the question of how we realise the perception of artworks. Theories of legal causation that identify the concept with probability‐raising generate false positives where the defendant's conduct raises the probability of harm but brings about that harm in the wrong kind of way. Moreover, what the law seeks to deter is not conduct that raises the probability of harm, but rather conduct that is dangerous. A legal or proximate cause is one that harms the plaintiff through the causal mechanism that sustains the lawful generalization that the defendant's conduct was dangerous.

Realities of the formed information society made actual for inclusive education a problem of formation of professionals of the new directions capable to apply information technologies to improvement of interaction between participants of process of distance learning. Until recent time the institute of distance learning had no analogs in our educational system. It has to become one of the most important elements of the organization of remote education. Inclusive education becomes the new strategic direction of modern education in Russia, its (...) program of development to 2020 is designated by the Federal law ‘About the education in the Russian Federation‘ which has come into force on September 1, 2013. Ideas of inclusive training were born from a pressing need of society to help children to be integrated with features of development into society. Without it a creation of a new civilized society, the education system that meets the requirements of the humanistic principles is not possible. In this connection, creation of a substantial and technological basis of the organization of inclusive education of children in the mode of distance learning is an extremely important for today social, moral and pedagogical problem. In its center are the development of the subject, granting equal opportunities to each pupil to build the individual educational trajectory, culturological cultivation of the person capable to take an independent position in relation to external conditions. Distance learning serves as strong and active technology of socialization of such children. However, in the theory and a technique of training, the problem of distance learning of children with disabilities is insufficiently solved that is caused by unavailability of most of teachers to apply these technologies. There is a contradiction between objective practical need of distance learning for children with disabilities and insufficient readiness of a theoretical and technological basis. This is a main problem discussed in the study. In theoretical plan, it is a problem of development of the practical-focused theoretical and technological basis of distance learning of children with disabilities. On the practical level, it is a problem of formation of the subject information and education environment, designing of the contents, definition of methods, pedagogical technologies, the conditions of formation promoting achievement of the planned educational results and development of cognitive independent activity without prejudice to health of children on the basis of the accounting of their individual abilities. Technological effectiveness of the purposes is provided with prediction of educational results, their expression through requirements to actions of pupils. Recent time, children only start studying and mastering remote technologies therefore, first of all, they have to seize rational ways of educational activity and learn to work with information, i.e. priority value has to be allocated for formation of informative and logical and informative and information universal educational actions. The effects of socioeconomic factors on secular trends in suicide rates in Japan for the periods 1953–72 and 1973–86 were investigated using twelve socioeconomic indicators. Multiple regression analysis showed that the socioeconomic indicators affecting suicide rates were not identical in the two periods. The rates in both sexes in 1953–72 were closely related to unemployment rate and the labour force but between 1973 and 1986, divorce rate and the proportion in tertiary industry were most influential. Purpose of the study is explication of ethical and existential conditions of realization of human responsibility for the protection and recreation of the environment on a scale of the common world with all the other living beings. The crisis of the environment is the crisis of human morality. For responsible environmental management, it is necessary to form the ecological consciousness of society and reinterpret the anthropocentrism on the ethical foundations. The theoretical basis of the research is the analysis of ethical (...) and existential dimensions of understanding of the human environment ranging from the sphere of the home and the natural environment to the dimension of the common world of people and all the entities. The work clarifies the genesis of the concept of home from the ancient "oikos", household to the idea of home as a "hub", a base for mental and physical mobility in the contemporary technosphere. Correspondent to the transformation of the living world of mankind is the concept of communication and universal discourse of norms and values of human coexistence of J. Habermas, К.-О. Apel, D. Böhler, W. Kuhlmann, and others. The domain of the ecological consciousness and behaviour also requires motivation at the level of human feelings, beliefs, and convictions, which is represented by the philosophic and religious thought of H. Jonas, O. Leopold, K. M. Меуеr-Abich, A. Naess, the pope Francis, and others. As the result, the study proves the relevance of the concept of care about the common home based on the recognition of the value of the existence of all beings. Originality. The study explicates the genesis and meaning of the ethos of the common home with values of love, care, openness, solidarity, freedom, and responsibility which is proved to be the ethical and existential condition of the solution of the environmental crisis. The traditional anthropocentrism is reinterpreted towards the duty of people to be the centre of the responsibility for the existence of all beings that requires both reason and care. Conclusions. The ethics of care for our common home completes the moral duty of people as providers of the universal discourse who represent the interests of all beings. Concern for the preservation of the human environment and of all creation makes it possible for humanity to realize its universal responsibility in the world. The contemporaneous science and religious thought modify anthropocentrism to the holistic ethical understanding of human’s mission to be responsible for all beings. (shrink)

Contrary to the common view, this paper suggests that the Hippocratic oath does not directly refer to the controversial subjects of euthanasia and abortion. We interpret the oath in the context of establishing trust in medicine through departure from Pantagruelism. Pantagruelism is coined after Rabelais' classic novel Gargantua and Pantagruel. His satire about a wonder herb, Pantagruelion, is actually a sophisticated model of anti-medicine in which absence of independent moral values and of properly conducted research fashion a flagrant over-medicalization of (...) human problems. Ultimately this undermines the therapeutic core of medicine itself. We contend that PAS is a case of such over-medicalization and that its institution creates medicophobia. This article does not express an opinion about euthanasia in general. Rather, we claim that physicians should learn from the oath and from Rabelais that they should keep their practice to medical care and not to exploit their expertise and social privileges for the sake of ulterior motives, even when their patients desire those goals. Quel doit être le comportement éthique du juif à l'égard du non-juif ? Et d'abord qui est cet « autre », cet « étranger », comment le définir et comprendre ce qu'il est, aux yeux de Dieu et par rapport au peuple juif ? La Bible contient des lois qui concernent tous les hommes en général, d’autres le peuple d'Israël en particulier, elle énonce des préceptes relatifs à « autrui », au « prochain », aux « étrangers ». Les Sages (...) de l'époque talmudique ont longuement scruté et commenté ces écritures, le plus souvent à propos de cas concrets, par exemple celui-ci : si le taureau d'un juif agresse celui d’un non-juif, le propriétaire du premier doit-il réparation à celui du second comme il le devrait pour un autre juif ? Dans le cours des temps, des Sages ont rendu sur ce cas d'école des arrêts contradictoires et diversement motivés, par suite vraisemblablement de changements dans la situation des communautés juives au sein de populations étrangères. Plus tard, il arrivera que des textes, qui semblaient préconiser un traitement discriminatoire du juif et du non-juif, seront jugés scandaleux par des 1ecteurs chrétiens, au point même d'être expurgés par la censure ecclésiastique des éditions du Talmud. De nos jours encore, les décisions des Sages d’autrefois alimentent la controverse, et l'histoire des taureaux retrouve de l'actualité dans un état d'Israël en butte aux conflits ethniques. Mais la relecture critique du Talmud tend à faire prévaloir une attitude plus universaliste et non discriminatoire, que n'ignoraient pas les temps anciens.What should the ethical comportment of the Jew be toward non-Jews ? To begin with, who is this « other », this « stranger », ; how can you define and understand who is in the eyes of God and in relation to the Jewish people ? The Bible contains laws that concern all men in general, and some that concern the people of Israel in particular. It presents precepts relative to the « other », the « neighbor », and « strangers ». The Sages of the Talmudic period examined and commented on this writings at length, most often concerning concrete cases, for example this one : if a Jew’s bull aggresses that of a non-Jew, does the former owe reparation to the latter, as he does to another Jew ? Throughout the ages, the Sages made rulings on this theoretical case that were contradictory and diversely motivated. This was due, apparently, to changes in the situation of Jewish communities living among foreign populations. Later, it happened that texts, which seemed to recommend a discriminating treatment of the Jew towards non-Jew, were judged scandalous by Christian readers, to extent that ecclesiastical censure expurgated them from editions of the Talmud. Still today, the decisions of past Sages feed the controversy, and the story of the bulls regains actuality in the state of Israel as it struggles with ethnic conflicts. But a critical rereading of the Talmud tends to favor an attitude more universalistic and non-discriminatory, of which ancient times was not ignorant. (shrink)
