Au cours de cette recherche, nous réfléchissons à la question de la couverture médiatique du domaine sportif. Nous nous concentrons sur l’impact de la présence des médias sur la construction de l’information sportive elle-même. Nous discutons de la position de l’analyste du discours vis-à-vis de ce contexte de production de discours ; production fortement influencée par l’outil technologique. Par exemple, nous montrons que le placement de microphones sur les acteurs de la rencontre sportive pousse l’analyste (...) à considérer ces participants comme des objets et des producteurs de la couverture médiatique. Par l’analyse de ce type de corpus, nous proposons donc d’étudier ces questions de positionnement de l’analyste au sein de ce double contexte de production. (shrink)

Cet article présente une méthodologie spécifique destinée à traiter le discours politique médiatisé. Aussi bien qualitative que quantitative dans sa conception, la logométrie intégrative offre la possibilité de quantifier des stratégies de positionnements énonciatifs ou bien le recours à des activités cognitivo-discursives telles que la narration ou l'argumentation en même temps que des marqueurs textuels. Après le codage manuel d'un corpus échantillon, des statistiques sont générées par le logiciel Systemic Coder (O'Donnell, 2002) pour comparer la production discursive de (...) deux politiciens d'opinions différentes ayant participé au débat panel Question Time en mars 1993. Les résultats montrent que seuls 9 traits sur 140 formant l'ensemble du modèle sont identifiés comme étant significativement divergents (Loi statistique de Student-Fisher). Les traits mis en exergue se répartissent sur l'ensemble de la grille, depuis les choix de genre et de mise en scène énonciative, jusqu'au recours à certains marqueurs modaux : cela montre la nécessité d'adopter une perspective pluridimensionnelle. Une caractérisation interne des discours comparés (analyse par groupement de cellules) révèle que la notion d'écart n'est pas suffisante pour reconstruire la cohérence des activités langagières au niveau d'un locuteur donné. Cet article analyse les temporalités spécifiques de l’activité journalistique dans la médiatisation de la mort des célébrités. Il s’agit de saisir les facteurs, liés à des logiques professionnelles et médiatiques, qui déterminent les rythmes de l’information lors de la couverture du décès d’un personnage public. Nous nous appuyons pour cela sur l’analyse quantitative et qualitative d’un corpus de 24 459 titres et « chapeaux » sur des personnages publics décédés, correspondant à l’ensemble des annonces de (...) décès de l’année 2012 repérées dans la base transmédia OTMedia. L’étude de la circulation transmédiatique de l’annonce de ces décès permet de saisir les modalités temporelles du déploiement de l’événement-décès, entre la télévision, la radio, la presse en ligne et le Web. Nous distinguons deux opérations, relativement séparables dans le temps, qui gouvernent les rythmes de mort. La première opération renvoie à la valeur supposément intrinsèque de l’information : il relève d’un travail, inhérent à tout média, de gatekeeping, dictant la sélection des personnes dont il convient de signaler la disparition. La seconde opération renvoie à la valorisation de la nouvelle à travers un séquençage type relatif au potentiel symbolique et narratif des faits relatés. Nous défendons que les controverses sur la vie et la mort d’une personnalité sont les carburants les plus efficients de la couverture nécrologique. (shrink)

Cette contribution se centre sur le rapport que l'on est en mesure d'établir entre la façon dont est construit un corpus de discours et les objectifs de l'analyse, ce qui explique son titre. On part des définitions larges qui sont données sur cette notion en sciences sociales et en linguistique pour montrer les problèmes qu'elle pose au regard des opérations de recueil des données, de la question de l'exhaustivité, des catégories sur lesquelles il porte, de la nature de (...) l'outil de traitement des données. Puis en on précise la différence qu'il faut opérer entre langue et discours, texte et discours, texte et contexte, distinctions sur lesquelles il faut être au clair lorsqu'on traite de corpus. Suite à ces distinctions, on montre de quelle façon la construction d'un corpus dépend d'un positionnement théorique lié à un objectif d'analyse, ce que l'on appelle une problématique. On envisage trois types de corpus selon qu'ils se réfèrent à une problématique dite cognitive, communicative ou représentationnelle. Puis on montre comment un corpus de textes s'élabore dans un jeu de déconstruction et de reconstruction selon des critères d'ouverture ou de clôture (intertexte et hypertexte), de contraste (interne et externe) et de pertinence quantitative et/ou qualitative. On termine par le renvoi à un exemple d'analyse pratiqué par le Centre d'Analyse du Discours à propos du discours d'information télévisé, afin de montrer comment on peut tirer parti de certaines de ces options, et comment elles peuvent se combiner. En Europe, la recolonisation progressive des territoires par les grands carnivores, espèces protégées, fait l’objet de conflits virulents notamment dus à l’impact des actes de prédation sur les activités d’élevage. Les conflits provoqués par le retour du loup en France ont été abondamment relayés par la presse et ont ainsi été diffusés auprès d’un public élargi. À travers une mobilisation conjointe de méthodes de la lexicométrie et de l’analyse du discours, nous avons étudié l’évolution de l’image médiatique de l’éleveur (...) dans la presse régionale (Nice-Matin) et nationale (Le Monde) entre 1993 – date de première médiatisation du retour du loup – et 2014. Notre recherche témoigne d’une construction axiologique de cet acteur dans les deux quotidiens considérés. Tout au long de la période, Nice-Matin opère une légitimation de l’éleveur à travers la valorisation de son témoignage et de la profession qu’il exerce. La posture du quotidien national évolue quant à elle au cours du temps. Les premières années (1993-1999) sont marquées par un discours évaluant négativement la parole de l’éleveur et favorisant l’expertise institutionnelle. À partir du début des années 2000, marquées d’un point de vue institutionnel par l’autorisation de tirs de prélèvement dérogatoires de loups, Le Monde établit progressivement une image positive de l’éleveur et développe un discours empathique proche de celui de la presse régionale. En 2012, la publication d’un éditorial en faveur de la politique de régulation du loup inscrit explicitement un rapprochement entre les postures du journal et de l’institution. (shrink)

Cet article constitue l'un des éléments d'un dossier comparatif international sur le traitement médiatique de l'attentat survenu à la gare d'Atocha à Madrid en mars 2004. Centré sur la Roumanie et basé sur l'étude d'un corpus de trois quotidiens nationaux, il analyse les orientations du discours développé par la presse de cet état dans les jours qui ont suivi cet événement dramatique. Il montre que le mode de traitement journalistique développe une vision fataliste et tragique de l'événement. (...) Il met en évidence les stratégies «émotionnalisantes» qui sont mises en oeuvre. Axées sur les victimes roumaines de l'attentat, elles sont observables dans les trois journaux tant sur le plan verbal qu'iconique. L'article souligne enfin que l'événement à portée internationale des attentats de Madrid ouvre pour les journalistes roumains l'opportunité de dresser, au plan interne, une radiographie sociopolitique assez sévère, tout en mobilisant des mythes et des archétypes culturels qui confortent les valeurs nationales roumaines.This article is one of a comparative study on the international media coverage of the attack in Atocha train station in Madrid in March 2004. Centered on Romania and based on the study of a corpus of three national newspapers, it analyzes the stand taken by the press of the state in the days that followed this dramatic event. L’auteure exemplifie la notion de petit corpus à partir d’exemples de corpus « au vol » avant de montrer l’intérêt de saisir les premières tentatives de désignation d’un événement lorsqu’il surgit dans l’actualité médiatique (en 1.). Plusieurs petits corpus, réunis au fil d’instants discursifs qui s’inscrivent dans le traitement de la crise des migrants en Europe, permettent ensuite de mettre au jour le profil sémantique de mots représentatifs de cette crise à partir du repérage des constructions syntaxiques (...) et des mots qui leur sont associés en discours dans le contexte sociopolitique de 2015 à 2016 (en 2.). Rendre compte des processus psychologiques qui sous-tendent les stratégies de consultation conçues comme des actions de rassemblement d'informations, de sélection d'un corpus d'images de télévision dans les fonds, corpus à transformer pour procéder à des traitements analytiques ou illustratifs , supposés pertinents pour l'identification et/ou la compréhension des phénomènes étudiés. Les observations et les reconstitutions de séance, donnent accès aux difficultés cognitives de manipulation et d'appropriation des outils et logiciels disponibles. Les jugements métacognitifs qui régulent les clôtures « (...) acceptables » de corpus et la « représentativité typique » des éléments iconiques et linguistiques sélectionnés, sont évoqués pour expliquer la gestion de ces recherches.A study of the psychological processes that underlie the consulting strategies conceived as actions of assembling data, of selecting a corpus of television images from the collections of Inathèque de France, a corpus requring transformation to carry out analytical processing, that are supposed to be relevant to identify or to understand investigated phenomena. Les différents travaux de recherche en analyse du et des discours basés sur des corpus multimodaux ne limitent plus le langage à des formes et des règles, aussi évitent-ils de le réduire à l’utilisation de structures, de mots, ou de signes à deux facettes signifiant et signifié. D’emblée, dans un énoncé ou une énonciation voire dans un discours, chaque mot / acte de langage trouve sa légitimité d’utilisation dans le rapport qu’il entretient avec les unités linguistiques (...) et les unités de sens qui le précèdent et celles qui le suivent, aussi bien à l’écrit qu’à l’oral. En effet, la valeur et le rôle de tout praxème s’appréhendent dans sa place au sein de l’unité minimale qu’est l’énonciation et dans la prise en considération des paramètres linguistiques et extralinguistiques œuvrant à son actualisation dans le discours, donc de la prise en compte de la discursivisation. Il en ressort que, la forme et la règle déterminent, certes, la fonction de l’observable langagier mais ne mettent pas en évidence sa valeur discursive. Pour illustrer ce fait, nous aborderons la question de la fonction énoncive et de la valeur énonciative du syntagme nominal détaché représenté par les formes d’adresse dans le genre de discours Questions au gouvernement. Nous procèderons en relevant les syntagmes nominaux détachés et en les analysant hors et dans leur cotexte de production pour aboutir à la conclusion que le syntagme nominal détaché est très important dans ce genre du discours. Les messages de vœux des présidents de la République constituent un genre discursif particulier, lié à l’épidictique, et fournissent un angle d’approche original pour l’analyse de l’ethos présidentiel vu du rituel politique. A la différence de Cotteret [1969], Labbé [1983, 1990], désormais Mayaffre [2004], nous saisissons le discours présidentiel sous un angle plus étroit mais dont on peut penser qu’il apportera des éléments intéressants si l’on considère cette forme codifiée comme une quintessence du statut présidentiel en représentation. A la (...) suite de Françoise Finniss Boursin [1992] mais aussi de Françoise Chambre [1984] et Elisabeth Rivory [1991], nous nous intéressons aux allocutions de fin d’année des présidents français, mais adoptons une démarche plus expérimentale, mobilisant différents outils lexicométriques que nous comparons. Cet article étudie un corpus de quatre quotidiens marocains et analyse les orientations du discours développé par cette presse nationale dans les jours qui ont suivi l'événement dramatique de l'attentat de Madrid en mars 2004. Il montre, qu'à l'exception du journal islamiste, la presse marocaine ne cherche pas à nier l'existence d'un islamisme radical au Maroc mais fait front contre d'éventuelles stigmatisations du Maroc, du fait de l'origine des poseurs de bombe. Il souligne que ce traitement médiatique va (...) permettre une réappropriation nationale par le biais d'un discours éthique visant à ancrer des croyances et des habitudes plus universellement partagées.This article explores a collection of four Moroccan dailies and discourse analysis guidelines developed by the national press in the days following the tragic event of the Madrid bombings in March 2004. It shows that with the exception of the Islamist newspaper, the Moroccan press does not seek to deny the existence of radical Islam in Morocco but united against any stigma Morocco, is the origin of the layers bomb. Les temporalités journalistiques connaissent-elles des ordres et des crises? Le cas de l’Unité populaire au Chili montre que les routines pratiques et les habitudes discursives du journalisme sont historiquement situées et connaissent des métamorphoses. Ces transformations s’appuient sur les normes en vigueur, mais font émerger une autre logique temporelle qui prend peu à peu le dessus. Dans le cas chilien, la temporalité de la mise à l’agenda et la figure du gatekeeper sont de plus en plus contestées par l’événementialisation politique (...) et l’urgence médiatique. La sélection et la hiérarchisation des nouvelles ne disparaissent pas, mais elles s’opèrent dans un autre but. Elles laissent la place à la temporalité de la fluidité, par laquelle les journalistes doivent nourrir un flux de nouvelles plus étendu et accéléré. La réactivité se redéfinit alors. L’Unité populaire, ce sont donc les temps agités où se métamorphose, au Chili, la temporalité de la mise à l’agenda. Et tout l’intérêt de ce cas réside dans le décalage historique entre ces métamorphoses journalistiques et la succession des régimes politiques puisque la temporalité de la fluidité émerge durant le gouvernement démocratique d’Allende et se consolide sous le régime autoritaire de Pinochet. Bien que couramment utilisée dans les discours médiatiques, la notion d’« arrogance » reste pourtant peu étudiée. L’analyse de discours réalisée à partir d’une revue de presse nous permet ici d’éclairer les mécanismes de l’arrogance et la manière dont s’articulent précisément incommunication et imposture stratégique, qu’il convient dès lors de considérer conjointement. Car en niant l’interaction et en entremêlant méprise et mépris, l’arrogance éclaire négativement la force du lien qui existe entre information, communication et stratégie.Although the (...) word is often used in media discourse, “arrogance” in itself has rarely been studied. Our analysis of discourses taken from a press review highlights the mechanisms of arrogance and the interplay of un-communication and strategic deception, which must therefore be considered together. Cet article revient sur un corpus de conversations par SMS entre des personnes sourdes qui présentent un bilinguisme entre le français et la Langue des Signes Française. Ce regard rétrospectif sur ce corpus, notamment sur les motifs de son cadrage, l’enquête de terrain préalable à sa collecte, le protocole de collecte en tant que telle, ou le défi que constitue son annotation, permet de discuter des avantages et des limites des positionnements qualitatifs et quantitatifs en amont de la (...) constitution du corpus. Le contexte complexe des enjeux culturels, sociaux, économiques, historiques, identitaires, politiques, et épistémologiques, des sourds bilingues devient une ressource bien plus puissante s’il est envisagé à la fois comme le lieu de l’émergence des discours récoltés, et comme un giron potentiel de la problématisation du rapport entre l’analyste et son objet d’analyse. En décrivant les particularités linguistiques de ce corpus de conversations écrites entre personnes sourdes, cet article cherche à expliciter les écueils analytiques qui peuvent être anticipés ou évités par un travail exploratoire qualitatif tant en amont de la collecte des données et métadonnées, que lors du travail d’analyse. La Rhétorique propose une théorie de la réception et du public, logée à l'intérieur d'une théorie de la production du discours. In the article the problem of transformation of the information received by the user on the Internet into his knowledge is investigated. The paper uses the main special scientific and logical research methods used in the social and humanitarian sciences. At the same time, the methods of systematic and value-worldview analysis of the phenomena of the spiritual world of a person are distinguished by the degree of significance, which allow us to study the problem of the dialectic of knowledge (...) and information on the Internet not in isolation, but in connection with the main phenomena of the spiritual life of people, taking into account the priority of value-worldview structures. The goal of the work is to find a priority factor that provides a higher degree of accuracy in the transformation of information from the Internet into human knowledge. It is shown that the nature of the world wide web to a certain extent complicates the process of translating information coming to a person into his knowledge. It is concluded that the condition for the transformation of information received by the user on the Internet is the cognitive activity of a person, due primarily to the development of its value and ideological sphere. If the cognizing person has sufficiently developed and stable value – ideological foundations of personality, he successfully realizes himself as a developing subject, an active participant in knowledge. On the contrary, insufficiently stable value-worldview sphere can lead to passive perception of information by the individual, adaptation to reality, simplification of personality. Information from the Internet in the most adequate form is transformed into a person’s knowledge on the basis of his own cognitive activity, in the presence of intellectual and volitional capabilities for verifying the information available on the Network. The article examines the situation associated with the spread of social networks, which brought not only new communication opportunities, but also the risks of blurring the boundaries between privacy and publicity. People voluntarily share personal data in exchange for public acceptance. This information is recorded and studied by various government and commercial institutions. The danger to information privacy as a right to control access to personal information is aggravated by the peculiarities of online communication, which is characterized (...) by “context collapse”: the merging of different audiences with different norms and values. Content posted on social media is searchable beyond a specific point in time and situation. If offline communication involves a foreseeable number of interlocutors, there is an “invisible audience” on social networks, which leads to information asymmetry. However, despite the fact that most users are aware of the potential dangers of privacy breaches, they share personal information on social networks. This phenomenon is called the privacy paradox. The reasons for this behavior are a lack of technical and social skills, a reluctance to spend time and energy on measures to minimize risks, a desire to have wide social connections and skepticism about the effectiveness of the efforts being made. The behavior of users on social networks is influenced primarily by factors such as age and education. The most concerned about the preservation of privacy are young people and middle-aged people, as they have to manage the most complex social relations. (shrink)

In this work the authors give a brief description of the essence of phenomenon of digital government in general. The article explores the specific features of this process in the People’s Republic of China in the third millennium. This research examines the influence of functioning of e-government (...) bodies in Сhina on the internal political situation in the country – taking into account such aspects as building a dialogue between authorities and society, perfection of the public service system providing the Chinese citizens with essential public goods, the merits and the demerits of China’s online government are taken into account. This article examines such significant factors in the development of e-government in China as the impact of the global situation at the present stage on international politics and the country’s information security system. This article analyzes the features of the relationship between the Chinese authorities and media corporations operating on the Internet market of the Middle Kingdom, and studies the reasons for the contradictions between them. The study also comprehended strategy of the authorities of the People’s Republic of China in matters of information security of the state, including the active use of Chinese hackers in network conflicts with Western countries, and the actions of special units of the Chinese armed forces created to counter foreign cyber terrorism. The article examines the process of marginalization of the official science. Science is the basis of modern information technologies. Without it would be impossible to achieve in the field of space exploration, medicine, genetics, Cybernetics.. But not only science affects society and society affects science as a social institution and, in particular, on scientists who are members of the society. In the situation of postmodernity changed the cultural function of science. Her identity is blurred. Science is from this point (...) of view one of the spheres of professional activity, has only a practical value in creating opportunities for the design of new technical systems, but claim to possession of truth have no reason to. In different branches of science requirements to its criteria differ. It gives the opportunity to be a marginal science. Marginality occurs under the influence of external factors related to socio-economic and socio-cultural transformation of society as a whole, which, in turn, made social groups that previously had a high status, change, or completely lose it and the associated social environment, social relations and the system of value orientations. With this understanding, and science and pseudo-science in the culture of equal triumphs playful attitude to life. Pseudo-games do not require the use of cumbersome and expensive equipment, and are more cost effective than science classes. In these circumstances, it blurs the boundary between science and pseudoscience, which hampers technological development. The symbolic world of Corpus Areopagiticum is considered here from the prospect of the dichotomy in similar and dissimilar similarity (the images). The dissimilar images are divided into decent, average andthe distant ones. The similarand dissimilar images of Areopagite describe the world system by cataphatic and apophatic approach. The apophatic one seems to be noticeably more important for the author, as in denial (what God is not) or as in applying of unworthy predicates concerning him, his fundamental transcendence and (...) unknowability become more expressive. Similarand dissimilar images are both the divine names from the NewTestament and the Old Testament respectively. They allow the agent of cognition get closer to the understanding of the universe structure. The divine names correspond to the so-called universal concepts which are considered in the works of contemporary linguistic conceptualistics. Anthropomorphic and zoomorphic characters of the Scripture belong to the dissimilar images, such as parts of the human body, wild animals etc. The most distant dissimilar images should be analyzed as the manifestations of the human passions applied to the naming or description of God. This is the most controversial aspect of the dissimilar similarities because of their provocative character for a profane reader. Thomas Aquinas, one of the ardent admirers of the Corpus, has denied it while considering the theory of images ("The Mystical Theology"). Звертається увага на те, що інформаційно-комунікативний процес впливає на поглиблення комунікації, інформації, інформатизації та на ефективність їх упровадження в організаціях відкритого типу. Загальновідомо, що політика є концентрованою економікою. Згідно парадигмі Макіавеллі, наука про владу звернена не до тих, хто думає про народне благо, а до тих, хто бачить у владі засіб отримання вигод і привілеїв, що часто підтверджується на практиці. У кого в руках концентруються економічні ресурси, той і керує політичними процесами. Інакше кажучи, гроші правлять світом. Коли інші методи виявляються неефективними, як крайні методи використовується війна. Але так звані «гарячі» війни вимагають величезних людських і матеріальних витрат, що призводять до підняття патріотичного (...) духу у того народу, проти якого ведуться військові дії і викликають масовий спротив. Інша справа «холодна» або інформаційна війна, коли знищуваний народ з радістю вітає завойовника, і сам себе знищує. Як зброя у цій війні використовуються різні форми пропаганди і дезінформації; напівправда, що гірше відвертої брехні; псевдонаука, яка маскується під науку, софістика як умисне застосування помилкових доводів, навмисне помилкове міркування, формально здається правильним. Адже використання неадекватної інформації призводить до неадекватної практиці.Концепція інформаційних воєн базується на тому, що, по-перше майбутнє нам невідомо, і, по-друге, немає ніякої об'єктивної політичної істини. З допомогою маніпулювання інформацією будь-яка точка зору вигідна меншості може бути нав'язана більшості. Демократичні вибори з'являються тоді, коли є ілюзія того, що шанси гравців рівні, умови гри – суворі і ясні, а судді неупереджені. Однак дуже часто зустрічаються питання, які люди взагалі не згодні вирішувати більшістю голосів. Таким чином в результаті маніпулювання інформацією в сучасному суспільстві знижується роль раціональних критеріїв. ФAs an important indicator of protection of citizens, society and state, information security is an integral part of national security. Therefore, its definition is mainly focused on preventing those negative consequences that may arise from various information threats, as well as eliminating and overcoming these consequences with the least losses for society and a human. In this aspect, what has become particularly relevant is the research of not only philosophical, phenomenological and socio-psychological determinants of the information security (...) of citizens, but also political and legal resources and mechanisms of the information space of the state in the conditions of the functioning of the global information society. Unfortunately, Ukraine has not yet produced an effective model of the information security system of the state, society and a human, although the need for this is fixed at the constitutional level. Therefore, today it is very important to develop a holistic codifying document that would fully cover various aspects of the formation of national security policy, and also define a specific tool for its implementation. The author considers that it is important to pay attention to the development of the theoretical and methodological foundations of research of the problem of information security, which are focused on strict observance of national interests both at the internal and external levels. It is also necessary to form a comprehensive conceptual and theoretical basis that should cover the philosophical-political and information-technological aspect of the issue. Urgency of the research is considered on the evolution of society and personality. The contradictions between the directions of development in the educational system and the personal need to be artistic and creative actualize the topic of our research. The purpose of the study is to clarify the etymology and semantic definition of the term «artistic and creative activity» in the context of personal development. The tasks are to consider the meaning of the term and to systematize definition of «artistic (...) and creative activity», the definition of sources and mechanisms for the development of personal «artistic and creative activity», which clarify his thesaurus. Methods of research are analysis of theoretical and methodical principles; generalization of the individual concept definition «artistic and creative activity»: the category reflects the amount and quality of information connected with the study subject and allows complete and systematic disclosure of the definition to clarify the key concept. Results. The definitions of the personal concept «artistic and creative activity» are: natural personality ; the individual ability to realize the natural potential ; the individual source of the needs, which is subconscious instinct ; the need for self-expression ; the process of creative self-expression in the process of creative activity ; human factor and internal motivation ; dynamic activity, dynamic side and moment of reproduction ; personal characteristics and the source of their transformation ; driving force and awakening of the source ; personal development, self-development ; qualitative and quantitative personality characteristics ; Integrative quality of personality, which finds itself in independence ; the measure of individual characteristics. Conclusions. Personal creativity is considered in accordance with the three main aspects: as a set of qualities of the individual, where we can see the reflection of the subject’s internal emotional relation to the world and to himself, his ways of expression, self expression; as activity of a certain character, which is a high-level activity; as intensity in the process of the individual interaction with the environment. The relevance of the study is considered in the context of the educational system development and the individual need to be artistically and creatively active in the process of these changes. The actuality of the research topic is that for the development of Ukraine it is necessary to take into account the indisputable fact that globalization together with the information revolution has created new conditions for all types of life. Humanity continues to grow quantitatively and increase the number of independent states whose citizens use the national languages. The purpose of the study is a critical analysis of the reasons for the unprecedented complexity of language changes in Ukraine after the (...) collapse of the Soviet Union and the restoration of its independence. Objectives of the study - to identify the deep causes of the loss of the truth of Ukrainians about their linguistic past; to prove on the basis of the latest scientific discoveries the peculiarity of the linguistic contribution of the ancestors of Ukrainians to the emergence of the Indo-European linguistic family thousands of years ago; to fulfill the forecast for the future of international languages. The methodology of the research is the noointegral, systemic and noohistorical methods that allow a newer way to analyze the affinity of the Ukrainian language with English and to make a forecast of changes in the role of the English language in the future. Presenting main material: the result of the study is the discovery of evidence that the Ukrainian language is not just a little branch of the Russian language, but a transformed primary Indo-European language. The scientists from the West were proved that Ukrainians were the part of the inventors of agriculture in Levant. During the movement on the West they chose life on the black earths of Ukraine, joined with the Arians and created the civilization "Trypillya-1". Trypillians domesticated a horse, invented a wheel, created a metallurgy of bronze and formed the economic zone of the Greate Trypillya between the Carpathians and Western Siberia. All the common words of today about 400 Indo-European languages are a cloud of tags spread from the Great Trypillya. The article is devoted to the concept of "international language". The analysis of contemporary world language changes is carried out in order to assess the possibility of converting English into a global international language. Examples of the growth and decline of languages of certain peoples in the past are considered. The data on evolution and changes in the international language ranking in the New Times are given. The facts of the temporary leadership of the French, German and Russian languages are revealed and the main reasons for their retreat and decline are indicated. The reasons for the global use of English in the twentieth century are explained, but the assumption about the impossibility of its transformation into the universal language of humanity in the future is expressed. A forecast of the influence of progress in computer technologies and artificial intelligence on the ways of using English and other languages is made. The fact of the appearance of the first version of the computer multilingual translator Travis-1 is noted and its rapid improvement and inclusion in the software of near-future mobile devices, which spread on the planet in billions of copies, is envisaged. Conclusions - formulated suggestions for plans for the development of the education system in Ukraine. It is proposed to use positive experience in Scandinavian countries - Sweden and Finland in modernizing the teaching of English and other foreign languages. (shrink)

The problem of research is that for effective management it is necessary to develop reliable mechanisms for the identification and development of manager's abilities, to increase the level of professionalism and competence of the head to the highest level, so that the management organism does not disorient. A person who works as a specialist, a professional, a competent person can be qualified to carry out the work of a manager. The hypothesis is put forward that the manager of a high level of professionalism and competence is able to form the psychological foundations of the organization, so that it worked as a single social organism. The task of the research is to analyze the psychological foundations of management activity in the conditions of the information society, which would allow the most optimal management of a particular organization. The methodological foundations of the psychology of management as the basis of effective leadership include methods of cultural development, which are used to solve the problems of organization, the formation of psychological culture, devoid of conflicts, contradictions, disasters. Methodological basis of scientific research of psychological principles of administrative activity as the basis of effective management are methods, such as system, structural, structural-functional, historical, comparative, which allow to achieve a higher level of organization and self-organization at the expense of skilful leadership. Therefore, the manager must use the whole set of methods, techniques, algorithms of actions, techniques, methods of achieving certain results that will lead to the management of a high level. The development of information management is promoted by the "knowledge society", which cultivates a creative person, the formation of which is based on information and knowledge. The research tasks are the conceptualization of the development of information and communication technologies, which are the basis for the development of information management; clarification of the essence, content and main directions of the development of information and communication technologies, which are introduced into the practice of the higher school educational process. The methodological basis for the formation and development of the concept of the information society is the informationalism studied by M. Castells, as well as the autopoiesic methodology of Maturana and Varela, as well as the synergistic and non-informational methods based on nonlinearity and informiology. The results of the research are the formation of the concept of information management as one of the most modern trends in the development of the 21st century society, which is quite innovative, requiring the development of an information and innovation society and an information and innovation personality. Conclusions - the concept of information management should be introduced in all areas of the development of society, including the higher school, which requires the formation of a creative personality as a subject of an information and innovation society. Aristotle's rejection of the Platonic ideas robbed him of Plato's unity of Being and Value as well. By an extensive, clear interpretation and analysis of the whole Aristotelian corpus, Oates shows that Aristotle lacks a coherent theory of value. While considerations of value unavoidably occur in the Metaphysics, just as ontological ones do in the Ethics, nowhere in Aristotle is there a unification of axiology and ontology. For this reason, Oates argues, the Nicomachean Ethics fails to be a theory (...) of moral good. The book is a temperate, perhaps non-controversial critique of Aristotle, and its polished, easy style makes it a pleasure to read.—A. B. D. (shrink)

The theme running through these cooperative studies is the relation between automated fields of communication and control, and the various strata of human behavior. The question of the stratification of behavior is beginning to receive serious attention from the standpoints of ecology and cybernetics. One can only welcome the explorations of this imaginative group of authors in areas as promising as those of form, information, and life ; communication, information, and poetic language ; the role of information (...) in the human sciences ; physics and information ; and knowledge and information. A prevailing conceptualization of values in organizations regards values as preferable modes of conduct or end-states of existence. Accordingly, values are pursued through prescriptions, actions of implementation and evaluation, based on the presumption that values inform actions. Thus, holding the ‘right’ values leads to desired practice. However, this is a problematic stance, suppressing the fact that correlation between value and action is highly questioned. The article claims that proliferation of values in organizations is more plausible and influential turning the process (...) around, utilizing the ideas of sensemaking, tacit knowledge and virtue in a critical reflection-upon-action model, engaging organizational members as co-researchers of their own value constructions in context. A specific issue for argumentation theory is whether information and communication technologies play any role in governing argument — that is, as parties engage in practical activities across space and time via ICTs, does technology matter for the interplay of argumentative content and process in managing disagreement? The case made here is that technologies do matter because they are not merely conduits of communication but have a role in the pragmatics of communication and argumentation. In particular, ICTs should be (...) recognized as communication-information services that are delegated degrees of responsibility for managing disagreements arising from practical activities. These services are organized around practical theories for designing disagreement space. However, recognizing this relationship between argument and technology requires accounting for procedures, techniques, or rules and speech acts that are not argumentative propositions in any strict sense but that are consequential for what becomes argumentation in any setting. An account about designing disagreement space, grounded in Jackson and Jacobs’s theory of Disagreement Management, is put forward to address these issues while more generally contributing to understanding argument in context. This paper is an attempt to summarise and justify critical comments I have been making over several decades about research on consciousness by philosophers, scientists and engineers. This includes (a) explaining why the concept of "phenomenal consciousness" (P-C), in the sense defined by Ned Block, is semantically flawed and unsuitable as a target for scientific research or machine modelling, whereas something like the concept of "access consciousness" (A-C) with which it is often contrasted refers to phenomena that can be described (...) and explained within a future scientific theory, and (b) explaining why the "hard problem" is a bogus problem, because of its dependence on the P-C concept. It is compared with another bogus problem, "the 'hard' problem of spatial identity" introduced as part of a tutorial on semantically flawed concepts. Different types of semantic flaw and conceptual confusion not normally studied outside analytical philosophy are distinguished. The semantic flaws of the "zombie" argument, closely allied with the P-C concept are also explained. These topics are related both to the evolution of human and animal minds and brains and to requirements for human-like robots. The diversity of the phenomena related to the concept "consciousness" as ordinarily used makes it a polymorphic concept, partly analogous to concepts like "efficient", "sensitive", and "impediment" all of which need extra information to be provided before they can be applied to anything, and then the criteria of applicability differ. As a result there cannot be one explanation of consciousness, one set of neural associates of consciousness, one explanation for the evolution of consciousness, nor one machine model of consciousness. We need many of each. I present a way of making progress based on what McCarthy called "the designer stance", using facts about running virtual machines, without which current computers obviously could not work. I suggest the same is true of biological minds, because biological evolution long ago "discovered" a need for something like virtual machinery for self-monitoring and self-extending information-processing systems, and produced far more sophisticated versions than human engineers have so far achieved.
