Gianni Vattimo ha elaborato l’estetica e la teoria dell’arte del «pensiero debole» soprattutto in alcuni articoli pubblicati nella «Rivista di Estetica» (della quale è stato direttore). Parte di questi saggi è stata poi raccolta nella seconda sezione di una delle sue opere centrali, La fine della modernità, sezione intitolata, significativamente, La verità dell’arte. Le diverse questioni discusse da Vattimo sono infatti attraversate dal filo conduttore del problema della verità dell’arte, nell’epoca del nichilismo, della fine della storia e del mondo estetizzato (...) dei mass media. Attraverso una lettura teoreticamente produttiva di M. Heidegger e F. Nietzsche, ma anche – come si vedrà – di certe pagine kantiane, e al contempo “indebolendo” l’ermeneutica di H.-G. Gadamer (ma anche quella di L. Pareyson),Vattimo affronta la questione dell’arte, della sua verità, del suo significato, del suo statuto ontologico, mettendo anzitutto in questione la domanda “che cos’è l’arte?” che molti studiosi, sia in ambito “analitico”, sia in ambito “continentale”, pongono al centro della riflessione estetica. Ha infatti senso, oggi, chiedersi «che cos’è l’arte?», cercando di fornire una definizione che restituisca l’ontos on, l’essenza dell’arte? O è proprio il fatto di presumere la possibilità di offrire una definizione a costituire il vero problema, in quanto tale assunzione presuppone già un determinato modo di pensare il mondo, modo di pensare che, storicamente, si è costituito come la metafisica occidentale? E se nel post-moderno la metafisica occidentale viene decostruita da un pensiero e da prassi vitali che ne mettono in crisi le griglie concettuali, ne sovvertono gli ordini e le tassonomie, esibendone così l’infondatezza, com’è possibile definire, pensare e praticare l’arte e l’estetica, che sono categorie impiantate solidamente nelle strutture della metafisica? .....الصديق الصادقي العماري، دور وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في تعزيز قيم المواطنة الإنسانية لدى الشباب، ضمن مؤتمر أسبوع التقارب والوئام الإنساني-الرابع-، منشورات مركز السلطان قابوس العالي للثقافة والعلوم، سلطنة عمان، فبراير 2015....... ساعدت تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصال الرقمية على ربط التواصل بين الشعوب بمختلف توجهاتها الحضارية متجاوزة بذلك الحدود السياسية والجغرافية، وفك العزلة الحضارية التي كانت تعيشها معظم المجتمعات البشرية، إذ يشهد عالمنا المعاصر تحولات كبيرة في تكنولوجيا الاتصال، تؤثر في العلاقات السياسية والاقتصادية، وفي أنماط التفكير وأنماط العيش في المجتمعات المختلفة، وقد (...) قامت وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي الرقمية ولازالت تقوم بدور فعال في إمداد الإنسان بكثير من المعلومات والمواقف والاتجاهات، مساهمة بذلك في تشكيل وعيه وبإعداده ليكون أكثر قدرة على التأثير في الآخرين واستمالتهم، فهي تقدم تعلم اللغات وتسهم في ترجمة المعلومات من أجل تسهيل عملية التواصل بين الشباب و إزالة الفوارق الحضارية، فضلا عن تميز هذه الوسائل بعدة مميزات منها التشاركية والتفاعلية والحضور الدائم غير المادي. فقد وفر ظهور وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي فتحا ثوريا، نقل الإعلام إلى آفاق غير مسبوقة، وأعطى مستخدميه فرصا كبرى للتأثير والانتقال عبر الحدود بلا قيود ولا رقابة بشكل نسبي محدود. إذ أوجد ظهور وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي قنوات للبث المباشر من جمهورها في تطور يغير من جوهر النظريات الاتصالية المعروفة، ويوقف احتكار صناعة الرسالة الإعلامية لينقلها إلى مدى أوسع وأكثر شمولية، وبقدرة تأثيرية وتفاعلية لم يتصورها خبراء الاتصال. وأبرز حراك الشباب العربي الذي تمثل في الثورات التي شهدتها بعض الدول العربية قدرة هذا النوع من الإعلام على التأثير في تغيير ملامح المجتمعات، وإعطاء قيمة مضافة في الحياة السياسية، والتأكيد على منافسة الإعلام التقليدي. أما المواطنة فقد أصبحت، بما يترتب عليها من واجبات وحقوق للمواطنين، مقولة مركزية للديمقراطية ومقوما أساسيا من مقومات الحداثة السياسية والاجتماعية، بل إن خلو دستور أية دولة دون الإشارة إلى هذه الحقوق وضرورة صيانتها والمحافظة عليها يعد من منظور الأخلاق الديمقراطية مخالفة قانونية وسياسية وانتقاصا من مشروعية السلطة ذاتها . كما أخذت المواطنة في العصر الحديث معنى جديدا تعكسه المنزلة التي أصبح يحتلها المواطن في المجتمعات الديمقراطية الحديثة، وتحددت تحت تأثير مجموعة من التحولات طبعت المجتمعات المعاصرة خلال منتصف القرن العشرين، هذه التحولات بعضها اقتصادي أو سياسي و البعض الأخر منها أيديولوجي إلا أن أهمها هو انتصار التوجهات التي أكدت على أولوية الفرد وشرعية استقلاله تجاه المجتمع، وحقه في رعاية مطالبه ومتابعة أهدافه بكل حرية في حدود احترام القوانين وقد شهدت العقود الأخيرة تعمقا قويا لهذا المبدأ. لقد غيرت المواطنة الحديثة بعمق الصورة الكلاسيكية للمواطن؛ حيث تعد حرية التعبير والمعتقد من الأصول الأساسية التي يقوم عليها نظام الدولة القانونية الديمقراطية، كما تعتبر وسائل الإعلام بمختلف صورها من أهم وسائل التعبير عن حرية الرأي في العالم المعاصر، لكن التطورات الحاصلة في مختلف مجالات الحياة الإنسانية جعلت الأحداث والظواهر والتطورات تفقد بساطتها الأولى، باعتبار التكنولوجيا الحديثة متغير أساسي في هذا المقياس، الأمر الذي دفع باتجاه ظهور إعلام متخصص يستطيع أن يقدم معالجة نوعية تتميز بمستوى من الجدية والعمق والشمولية، وتنوع وظائف وسائل الإعلام وانتقالها من اهتماماتها الكلاسيكية من نقل الأخبار إلى معالجة الأوضاع فأصبحت من ضروريات الحياة، فهي بمثابة حلقة وصل بين كل مؤسسات ومقومات ومكونات البناء الاجتماعي، وعلى عاتقها تقوم بشرح وتقديم ما لدى كل مؤسسة اجتماعية لأخرى؛ إذ تؤدي وسائل الإعلام دور بالغ الأهمية والخطورة في تكوين الرأي العام وفي تشكيله، وفي تعبئة الجماعات وحشدها حول أفكار وأراء واتجاهات معينة. El propósito de este artículo es proporcionar algunas pistas sobre el problema de la naturaleza en la filosofía de Heidegger y mostrar por qué su manera de abordar la naturaleza resulta problemática. Problemática, puesto que, al estar obsesionado por evitar elaboraciones naturalistas de los fenómenos que le conciernen, Heidegger solo se centra en una aproximación existencial a la naturaleza y pone el foco en la forma en que esta se hace manifiesta al Dasein. Esto no le permite elaborar una reflexión (...) filosófica sobre la naturaleza consistente con las ciencias de su época (salvo en algunas contadas ocasiones) y le impide dar un peso suficiente en su obra a la naturaleza. -/- . This study shifts the focus to the grassroots reconstruction of Confucianism undertaken by Wang Fengyi, a peasant theorist, practitioner, and educator who played a pivotal role in the “the Way of the Virtuous” (shanrendao) movement in Northeastern China during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Wang was a staunch advocator for the education and literacy of peasant women, who occupied the (...) lowest rungs of society. This chapter delves into his moral philosophy of education, which centers around the idea that women’s literacy is a moral issue. Furthermore, this chapter examines the convergence between Wang Fengyi’s gendered moral philosophy of education and the wartime educational ideology and mobilization efforts of the Japanese colonial administration in Manchukuo. This alignment was conducive – during the last years of Wang’s life – to the co-optation of his initiatives by the colonial administration, in their efforts to reach the impoverished underclass in Manchukuo. Dessa forma, sob a abordagem e enfoque de tais áreas ou disciplinas, isso com novos olhares, reflexões e perspectivas temos como fulcro nos deter, observar, analisar, refletir e extrair importantes e relevantes conteúdos da prática antropofágica – que já fora uma prática literal, simbólica e figurada na história de muitas sociedades humanas. E que (...) atualmente continua em vigor e em voga com suas manifestações figuradas e simbólicas. Ou seja, o antropofagismo de alguma forma não deixou de existir entre as sociedades humanas. Either directly or indirectly. It should be noted that we are not following or being influenced by the perspectives of the modernist movement motivated by Oswaldo de Andrade and others. Rather, we are carrying out certain reflections from the perspective of the disciplines mentioned, above all as a kind of analysis by Political Science. Both the practice of anthropophagism throughout human history, whether literal, figurative and/or symbolic - and its practices in contemporary times. And in this way, relating anthropophagy, politics, power, control and economics, through the problematic and provocative guiding question: Political Anthropophagism or Modern Political Cannibalism? A gênese deste estudo decolonial começa com o ensaio que empreendia uma discussão sobre Exu e a cultura diaspórica negra. Seus desdobramentos foram responsáveis pelo aparecimento de dois outros estudos: um sobre o Candomblé da Bahia e o sincretismo religioso, e um outro sobre o conceito decolonial de língua-linguagem como encruzilhada. O artigo sobre Exu, escrito em inglês, ainda foi responsável pelo convite para a escritura de um capítulo de livro, também em língua inglesa, sobre direitos humanos, liberdade religiosa e (...) lutas antirracistas na América Latina Diaspórica Negra. Por sua vez, este texto possibilitou o aparecimento de boa parte da discussão que se deu em um capítulo sobre a linha de frente das lutas políticas de Jorge Amado nos 100 anos do Partido Comunista do Brasil, quando o tema da baianidade ganhou corpo. Agora, neste novo estudo, que ora, apresento, a discussão busca responder às questões: “O que é a baianidade?” e “Como a literatura a decodifica ao longo da história?”. Para tanto, utilizo como metodologia a análise pragmática do discurso, tributária da análise discursivo-desconstrutiva, tomando o discurso literário como objeto observável, pois, nessa abordagem, todo discurso é o resultado das condições históricas de produção (cf. Embodiment of the mind as a body-mind, articulated as a sensing, thinking and acting body, is conceptually distinct from the mind-body dualism within the Cartesian framework. The case of India is further complicated from its twofold colonial heritage—British colonialism and a longstanding internal colonialism perpetuated through social categories such as caste, gender and class. Educational philosophers and social reformers such as J Krishnamurti, M K Gandhi and Savitribai and (...) Jyotirao Phule made the body a contested site for accessing knowledge and learning. In this chapter, the relationship between embodiment, metaphysics and the social process of learning in the Indian context is explained as offering an ethical experience of education to learners. The paper focuses on exploring the relationship that can be developed between revolution and sports. Specifically, it aims to identify, present, analyze, and systematize the philosophical and pedagogical perspectives formulated by philosophers who lived and presented their ideas during revolutionary periods. The study delves into a) bodily education during the French Revolution, which contributed liberal and radical ideas, significantly altering the trajectory of modern societies. In particular, the views of representatives from the European Enlightenment, the English empiricist J. Locke, and (...) the French physiocrat philosopher J.J. Rousseau are presented; b) physical education during the Greek Revolution, which aimed to awaken the Greeks through the dissemination of Enlightenment ideas; and c) physical education in modern revolutions. It is observed that in the ideas formulated during these historical periods, physical education served specific purposes, treating the individual as a whole, encompassing both body and mind. This paper addresses contemporary interpretations of Fichte’s System of Ethics (1798), focusing on the readings by Michelle Kosch, Allen Wood, and Owen Ware. My goal is to systematically review their interpretations and propose a revised approach to better understand Fichte’s ethical framework as a whole. Kosch interprets Fichte’s ethics as a form of consequentialism, suggesting that the constitutive end of absolute independence can be achieved through controlling nature via modern technology. In contrast, Wood characterizes Fichte as a radical Kantian, viewing (...) his concept of moral vocation as a plausible variation of Kant’s, where moral rightness is guaranteed by conscience. I align with Ware’s interpretation that Fichte should be regarded as a perfectionist. I argue that Fichte’s concept of striving must be given more prominence as the foundation of a perfectionist account. The striving subject seeks to attain independence, which, though practically and ultimately unattainable, remains a moral imperative. The agent is duty-bound to pursue perfection and explore every possible avenue to achieve this goal. In this context, Fichte’s ethics represents an infinite process central to the constitutive task of attaining absolute freedom. (shrink)

The conception of embodiment addresses relationships between knowledge, the mind, and the physical environment. The embodiment is the experience of becoming conscious of what the soma is as a whole. The stance of eco-somatic embodied sustainability places the unfolding of this venture in the perceptual interaction and relation between the human body and nature. The environment at the intersection of human and non-human nature highlights the necessity and importance of acknowledging nature’s participation in constructing sustainability knowledge. Postmodern environmental philosophers propose (...) narratives as a central element in producing environmental/ethical knowledge while defining the relationship between place, values, and sustainability. This paper will address a shift from the modern notion of environmental philosophy to postmodern environmental sustainability – the exposition of narratives, ideography, and metaphysical account of place for moving towards contextualising environmental epistemology. Environmental epistemology, metaphysics, and ethics are allied to establishing a dynamic relationship between soma, nature, and culture by developing embodied ecosystem sustainability. We cannot escape nature and its relation to us as we are embedded, situated, and interacting with the environment. However, the notion of an embodiment of nature and humans through contextualising epistemology with relational self, place, and ethics enacted becomes substantiated. (shrink)

Zygmunt Bauman wrote tirelessly on the ever-changing world that we live in, lucidly analysing our contemporary times in an intelligent and insightful manner in both oral and written discourses where the topics ranged from Holocaust reflections, modernity and postmodernity, urban and social liquidity and mobility, and utopia and dystopia, to mention but a few. In his astute observations Bauman paints an often sombre and depressing picture of society and the role we play in it. Writing at length on modernity and (...) postmodernity (the latter dependent on the former for its existence), the Polish sociologist, who was impressively prolific during his lengthy career at the University of Leeds, presents us with a world in flux, one in which citizens likened to hunters lead an increasingly solitary and rootless existence in the name of staunch individualism while, all along, they seemingly push faster and increasingly desperately into an uncertain future. In Bauman’s many accounts, these members, or denizens, of the postmodern habitat lead an ambivalent existence in an apparent utopia that is far from as utopic as one would have hoped for. Ahlak ve ahlaki değerler insanın varoluşuyla başlayan bir olgudur. Ahlak, insanın yaşamını devam ettirmesi için gereklidir. Ahlâki değerlerden uzak bir ferd düşünülemeyeceği gibi, milletler ve toplumlar da düşünülemez. Ahlâkî değerler insanları ister istemez kuşatır ve yaşamın idamesini sağlar. İnsan varlığının yaşam koşullarını bu denli etkileyen bir olguyu tez konusu seçmemdeki amacı, özelde Stoa Ahlakı’nı, genelde ise ahlak felsefesini araştırmak ve ahlak olgusunu anlaşılmasına katkıda bulunmaktır. Stoa Okulu milattan önce üç yüzlü yıllarda Kıbrıslı Zenon’un (335-264) öncülüğünden kurulmuştur. Kıbrıslı Zenon insan için (...) en önemli olanın ahlak olduğunu ve ahlak felsefesi (etik) yapmanın felsefenin en temel sorunu olduğunu vurguluyordu. Ahlak felsefesi dışındaki diğer bilimler ahlak felsefesi (etik) yapmak için gereklidir. Zenon’dan sonra gelen filozoflar da aynı çizgiyi takip etmişlerdir. Onun bu felsefi düşüncesi Stoa Okulu’nun son filozofu olan Roma İmparatoru Marcus Aurelius Antoninus’a (121-180) kadar sürdü. Ahlâkın üzerinde bu denli çok durmuş olan bu felsefî anlayışın ahlâkının ne olduğunu anlamak için, dikkate alınması gerektiğini düşünmekteyim. İnceleme konum olan “Stoa Okulu’nda Felsefe ve Ahlak” yukarıda belirttiğim hususa değinen bir çalışmadır. Bu çalışmamın ilk bölümünde Stoa Okulu’nun tarihi gelişimini, temel görüşlerini ve diğer felsefî akımlarla etkileşimini anlattım. Bunu yapmamdaki amacım, Stoa’nın ahlâk anlayışını açıklamaya bir ön hazırlık teşkil etmesiydi. İkinci bölümde ahlak felsefesi ve ahlâk felsefesi yönünden Stoa’yı etkileyen filozoflara değindim. Üçüncü bölümde ise, bütün bunlardan faydalanarak Stoa ahlâkı üzerinde durdum. Son bölümde, fatalizm- kadercilik kavramları çerçevesinde, Stoa fatalizmine ve İslam kaderciliğine değindim. In the introduction part of this thesis, which aims to discuss the place and importance of religious experience in Ghazali's system of thought, the place of religious experience in philosophy of religion and the place of Ghazali's religious experience in history are examined. In the first chapter, the concepts of religion, philosophy and experience are explained and their place in the framework of religious experience is explained. The possibility of religious experience, the types of religious experience and especially the concept (...) of intuition have been emphasized and the value of religious experience has been tried to be revealed in terms of being an evidence for the existence of God. In the second chapter, the life of Ghazali, the crisis he experienced in 1095 and the spiritual depression he had as a result of the religious experience that emerged as a result of this were discussed and his experience and thought shaped around it were examined. The mystics who determined the perception of religion, and the mental development theory that Ghazali developed as a result of his experience are explained. This theory is important in terms of forming a basis for his understanding of knowledge based on religious experience. In the third chapter, Ghazali's understanding of religious experience is emphasized. In this section, Ghazali's concept of religious experience and other related concepts are explained. Then, his efforts to ground the revelation and all kinds of knowledge with this religious experience were emphasized, and his 'revival' activity towards religion, philosophy, theology, fiqh, and mysticism was discussed. Ghazali rejects the grounding of knowledge with sense organs and reason and claims that knowledge should be grounded by revelation/inspiration or intuition. This claim has been discussed in various examples, and finally, an evaluation of the understanding of religious experience that is the basis of knowledge has been made and the issue of whether there is evidence for the existence of God or not has been discussed. In the end, religious experience determined his whole thought system from beginning to end. He reinterpreted everything according to religious experience and his revival project greatly influenced the Islamic world and thought after him. Gödel's explorations into the nature of time, the structure of the universe, and the relationship between mathematics and reality reveal a profound and multifaceted intellectual legacy. -/- Engagement with Immanuel Kant Gödel held a deep interest in the philosophy of Immanuel Kant. He admired Kant's critical philosophy, particularly the distinction between the noumenal and phenomenal worlds. Kant posited that human experience is shaped by the mind’s inherent structures, leading to the conclusion that certain aspects of reality (the noumenal world) are fundamentally unknowable.
