In den sechs hier edierten Heften eines philosophischen Journals, das K. L. Reinhold 1801 bis 1803 herausgegeben hat, dokumentiert sich Reinholds Denkperiode des logischen Realismus. Mehr als drei Viertel der vierzig Aufsatze stammen von Reinhold selbst. Seine Beitrage betreffen zum einen die Ausarbeitung des Systems des logischen oder rationalen Realismus, zum anderen philosophiehistorische Rekonstruktionen und Polemiken gegen Fichte, Schelling, Bouterwek und Hegel. Drei Aufsatze sind von Reinholds Mitstreiter Christoph Gottfried Bardili signiert. Das zweite und dritte Heft enthalten einen Aufsatz Johann (...) Friedrich Koppens, einen Abdruck der 1781 abgefassten und seither lediglich in einem privaten Kreis zirkulierenden "Recension von Kants Critik der reinen Vernunft" aus der Feder Johann Georg Hamanns sowie den Erstabdruck der von Jacobi - unter Mithilfe Koppens - niedergeschriebenen Abhandlung "Ueber das Unternehmen des Kriticismus, die Vernunft zu Verstande zu bringen". A sequel to “A Problem of Motivation for Multipliers”, SJPhil 20, 209-24. It is argued that Goldman’s account of act and event individuation cannot be modified to escape criticisms previously raised. Augmentation generation and the counterfactual basis of the account are featured inthe discussion.

The purpose of the Cambridge Edition is to offer translations of the best modern German edition of Kant's work in a uniform format suitable for Kant scholars. When complete the edition will include all of Kant's published writings and a generous selection from the unpublished writings such as the Opus postumum, handschriftliche Nachlass, lectures, and correspondence. This volume contains the first translation into English of notes from Kant's lectures on metaphysics. These lectures, dating from the 1760s to the 1790s, touch (...) on all the major topics and phases of Kant's philosophy. Most of these notes have appeared only recently in the German Academy Edition; this translation offers many corrections of that edition. As is standard with the volumes in the Cambridge Edition there is an extensive editorial apparatus, including extensive linguistic and explanatory notes, a detailed subject index, and glossaries of key terms. Professor Ilya Prigogine (January 25, 1917 -- May 28, 2003), Nobel Laureate 1977 in chemistry, was one of the great visionaries of our time. Not content to rest on his laurels, he continued hard technical scientific publication, often with junior colleagues, for 25 years after the Nobel Prize was awarded to him. His fields of work included non-equilibrium thermodynamics, the emergence of dissipative structures and complex behavior, and the foundations of the arrow of time in natural science. He directed two (...) major research institutions: the Center for Studies in Statistical Mechanics and Complex Systems at the University of Texas at Austin and the International Solvay Institutes for Physics and Chemistry at Brussels. In Selbstgefühl, Manfred Frank provides a detailed study of the eighteenth century origins and contemporary philosophical implications of a unique kind of direct selfawareness. The growing significance of this phenomenon is closely related to three interconnected developments in modern philosophy, which I describe as the 'subjective turn', the 'aesthetic turn', and the 'historical turn'. While following Frank in emphasising key concepts in the first of these two turns, I add a stress on the historical turn in post-Kantian philosophical writing.
