In der Geschichte der Logik spielt die Darstellung verschiedener formallogischer Sachverhalte in veranschaulichenden Figuren eine grosse Rolle. Eines der bekanntesten Beispiele solcher Figuren ist die beruhmte pons asinorum oder Eselsbrucke. Diese Figur findet sich zum erstenmal in dem Kommentar des Johannes Philoponos zu den Ersten Analytiken des Aristoteles. Die griechischen Aristoteliker haben einen bedeutenden Beitrag zur Weiterentwicklung der Syllogistik geleistet. Einige ihrer Beitrage - wie dieser der Eselsbrucke - wurden durch Averroes und Albert den Grossen der lateinischen Tradition weitergegeben. The concept of inner experience in Peter John Olivi. This article discusses the notion of inner experience and self-knowledge in Peter John Olivi. According to Olivi, each act of cognition is accompanied by some sort of self-awareness or self-experience. Therefore, the problem of an infinite regress of acts of self-awareness arises. Olivi tries to solve this problem by drawing on a theory of reflection which bears a striking resemblance to modern self-representational or dispositional accounts of consciousness. Thus, in order to (...) be said to be »known« or »certain« it is not necessary for each single act of intellect to be followed by a higher-order act; Olivi argues that in many cases a simple first-order cognitive act suffices. The first part of this essay discusses certain aspects of current research dealing with historical theories of emotions as well as with historical (fictional and non-fictional) descriptions of emotions; trends in medieval philology that apply a vague concept of social constructionism to emotions are criticised. The second part attempts to provide some historical background in regard to the question of the location of anger within medieval faculty-based psychology. The third and fourth parts focus on the medieval conception of anger as (...) a specifically “moral” – and therefore human – emotion straddling the border between the animal and spiritual world. Y pormenorizamos las distintas (...) secuencias en el traslado de una de las obras capitales de Aristóteles, que tanto interesó a los árabes, del árabe al latín, el Liber de animalibus, compendio de diversos trabajos naturalistas y de biología, que traduce nuestro autor natural de Ortigueira (mariña lucense). The present article discusses the Socinian views on free will based on fragments of Johann Völkel’s treatise, De Vera Religione Libri Quinque. Quibus praefixus est Johannis Crelli Franci Liber De Deo et Ejus Attributis ita ut unum cum illis opus constituat, published by Typis Sebastiani Sternacii, Raków, 1630 (bk. 5, chap. 18). This work is considered the most comprehensive systematic presentation of the Socinian doctrine. The article focuses on two questions: first, the way in which Völkel argues for the (...) existence of free will; and second, the manner in which he disproves the arguments of his opponents who claim that man forfeited the freedom of his will as a result of the Fall of Adam. This paper analyses the role of foreign and local companies in shaping Brazilian positions on global sustainability. It deals with an empirical investigation of CSR practices of firms from the electronics, food, and personal care sectors in response to pressures of 'market' and 'non-market' stakeholders. The results demonstrate that CSR decisions by foreign and local firms are triggered by organisational considerations and anticipated economic gains. The degree of implementation of CSR activities by foreign firms is more advanced than that of (...) local firms. The survey also confirms the hypothesis that market stakeholders exert pressure on companies and positively influence CSR. Non-market stakeholders seem to have a minor effect on corporate social responsibility decisions. We conclude that the institutional environment is a critical determinant of the extent to which the dialogue between stakeholders and companies leads to the attainment of sustainable development. Marc Richir acoge con entusiasmo esta idea filosófica de tacto interno, y explica que es un contacto incorporal, inmaterial, sin espacio ni tiempo; es la no-adherencia del sí a las cosas mismas, como resultado exigido por la trascendencia absoluta. Se establece, a continuación, un paralelismo entre Maine de Biran y (...) Marc Richir, como filósofos contrapuestos en los dos lados de un nivel fenomenológico intermedio: el nivel de las fantasías perceptivas y de la identidad de lo transposible. O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar a problemática inserida no discurso coaching alinhada à lógica neoliberal, o impacto deste pensamento na trajetória dos jovens em formação pelo Programa de Trabalho Protegido na Adolescência (PTPA) e de que modo esse discurso remodela os aspectos da subjetividade do sujeito em desenvolvimento. Para tanto contou-se com material de fonte primária obtido em atividade de pesquisa-ação denominada “Oficina dos Sonhos”, que contou com presença e participação direta dos adolescentes do PTPA que tiveram a (...) tarefa de pensar no local onde residem, como vivem e a perspectiva da transformação de modo lúdico e participativo. Assim, a oficina foi realizada pelo Observatório de Políticas Públicas para Adolescência, projeto de extensão da UERJ, e tornou-se relevante para compreender como a visão social e cultural do adolescente em diferentes contextos pode moldar a realidade dos sujeitos. Este estudo propõe, portanto, analisar a realidade do adolescente inserido na contradição do Estado capitalista, compreender limites, desafios e possibilidades de acesso ao primeiro emprego com condições dignas e tendo seus direitos garantidos, bem como a garantia à construção e continuação de projetos de vida. A metáfora do ciborgue é um constructo epistêmico relativamente recente. Publicado em 1985, o Cyborg Manifesto, de Donna Haraway, mobilizou o imaginário acadêmico-cultural apontando para a emergência do híbrido de máquina e organismo, indicando o nó produzido nas linhas de sentido históricas, vivenciadas na fusão entre técnicas (bio-info-cogno) e nós, os organismos vivos; tornando-se, assim, matriz da filosofia ciborgue. Academicamente, coube a Thierry Hoquet anatomizar o ciborgue na obra Filosofia Ciborgue: pensar contra dualismos (publicada em Português no ano de 2019 (...) e, no original, em 2011), fenômeno este que aparece no século XX com características próprias, desafiando categorias epistemológicas estanques, cuja pretensão é definir os limites entre o humano e o não humano, entre o que é próprio da natureza e o que é parte da cultura. Este estudo problematiza os castigos físicos usados nas escolas, investigando tanto as estratégias utilizadas pelas instâncias de poder, a fim de ordenar as práticas cotidianas, como as táticas utilizadas por professores, gestores e pais para lidarem com os preceitos impostos. Nese ínterim, são denunciadas as tensões existentes nessa relação, mergulhando em práticas, representações e argumentos utilizados nos séculos XIX e XX, tanto para corroborar quanto para proscrever os castigos físicos no espaço escolar. O texto é concluído através de uma reflexão (...) acerca dos castigos como parte da cultura escolar, fazendo referência, também, à distância existente entre as prescrições oficiais e as práticas ordinárias, bem como aos castigos como caminho para educar e civilizar sujeitos.
