pEn este artículo exploramos el rol de los recursos del sistema de modalidad que realizan la gradación de posicionamientos expresados por las voces autorales insertas en artículos de noticias, en relación con la urgencia de enfrentar la sequía en el centro-norte de Chile. En un corpus de cinco noticias publicadas en plataformas digitales en el período 2019-2022, nos aproximamos, desde una perspectiva trinocular (Halliday, 1994), a las opiniones expresadas por expertos en climatología, las cuales se realizan a través de patrones (...) interpersonales de significado, mapeados por el subsistema de compromiso del sistema de valoración en ensamble con recursos del subsistema de gradación. El análisis del corpus nos permite visualizar que la gradación de las perspectivas dialógicas en las voces de expertos contribuye modelar sus juicios y actitudes respecto del cambio climático en escalas de obligación realizadas a través de la prominencia de micro maniobras evaluativas de [contraer: negar] + [contraer: demandar] y de [expandir: considerar] + [contraer: demandar]./p. Formal ontology as it is presented in Husserl`s Third Logical Investigation can be interpreted as a fundamental tool to describe objects in a formal sense. It is presented one of the main sources: chapter five of Carl Stumpf`s Ûber den psycholoogischen Ursprung der Raumovorstellung (1873), and then it is described how Husserlian Formal Ontology is applied in Fifth Logical Investigation. Finally, it is applied to dramatic structures, in the spirit of Roman Ingarden.

El ensayo que sigue se interesa por mostrar algunas de las características más vistosas de la configuración enunciativa de la poesía de Américo Reyes Vera, a través de la lectura de sus dos de sus obras Los poemas plumaveral (1992) y Que los cuerpos cumplan su destino (2012). Para ello, se pone atención en la manera en que el sujeto de enunciación lírica se sitúa frente a su lector esperado y también se busca definir la relación en que la heterogeneidad (...) enunciativa se asocia a la preferencias temáticas de dichas obras. Para el contexto de la producción lírica actual y la tradición poética nacionales, la obra de Américo Reyes Vera puede considerarse como literatura emergente, dada la renovación exploratoria de los paradigmas estéticos que supone. He praised the determined and encouraged them for the future while criticizing and stirring up those who were less eager to act.This meeting has not attracted (...) much scholarly attention and admittedly for a good reason: other circumstances of the outbreak of the Civil War are, perhaps, more significant for understanding the events as well as the intentions and decisions of the political actors. The importance of this gathering lies, however, not so much in what its role might have been in the developments of the year 49 but rather in the context of the phenomenon of the promagistrates’ interference in the domestic politics of Late Republican Rome. Zajmował się informatyką i telekomunikacją przez 30 lat. Obecnie koncentruje się na filozofii informatyki i w ramach pracy doktorskiej z filozofii na zagadnieniu istoty informacji. Doktorat uzyskał na Uniwersytecie w Londynie na podstawie dysertacji o przestrzennych algorytmach genetycznych. Opublikował kilka książek na temat sztucznej inteligencji, telekomunikacji i filozofii Tao.

Stuart Richie’s book discusses social, political, and cultural influences on science. In a series of well documented cases Richie shows how many of top scientific journals publish poorly executed studies with dubious conclusions. Such publications distort a public image of science as an unbiased search for truth. The roots of such practices, Richie traces to the way science enterprise is done in academia and in private research centers, where only positive and “expected” results are valued. While according to Richie there (...) is a small chance to cure scientific practices from these ills, science itself is and remains the search for truth, even if our social moors make it so much harder. Józef Alojzy [Josephus Aloisius] Dmowski was one of the precursors of the nineteenth century renewal of Thomism and this was a few dozen years before the promulgation of Pope Leo XIII's encyclical, Aeterni Patris. He was one of the most famous Christian philosophers of the nineteenth century. His work was also the first extensive philosophy textbook of that time which included a l l the disciplines of the time, published by the Jesuits after the re-establishment of the Order in 1814.. (...) Until now Dmowski's philosophy has not been the subject of an extensive study. I aim to remedy this in the present article. (shrink)

Pierwsza grupa jezuitów przybyła do Polski w jesieni 1564 r. Na początku następnego roku otwarli oni w Braniewie na Warmii kolegium z pięcioklasową szkołą średnią oraz Internat, zwany Konwiktem Szlacheckim. Już w r. 1566 wprowadzili wykłady dialektyki w klasie wymowy i kontynuowali je przez następne dwa lata. Wykłady te były początkowo przeznaczone dla konwiktorów oraz towarzyszących im zwykle wychowawców, a także dla eksternów. Pierwszym wykładowcą dialektyki w Braniewie był jezuita czeski Baltazar Hostounsky. W lecie 1565 r. został on wiceprowincjałem w (...) Polsce z zadaniem czuwania nad kolegium w Braniewie, w którym naukę pobierało ponad 200 uczniów, oraz nad początkami fundacji kolegium w Pułtusku. Hostounsky uważał, ze system szkolny jezuitów należy przystosować do tradycji szkoły polskiej, m.in. przez wprowadzenie do programu nauczania matematyki, a zwłaszcza dialektyki. (shrink)

Jan Sieg, Sohn von Marceli und Teresa, geb. Rhunke, wurde am 20. Oktober 1919 in Płocicz, im Kreis Sępólno Krajeńskie in Pommern geboren. In den Jahren 1930 bis 1938 besuchte er die Oberschule in Chojnice und legte dort die Reifeprüfung ab. Am 28. September 1940 ist er dem Jesuitenorden beigetreten, woraufhin er in Stara Wieś bei Krosno ein zweijähriges Noviziat absolvierte. Er studierte Philosophie in Nowy Sącz und Theologie in Stara Wieś und in Krakau. Ordiniert wurde er am 29. Juni (...) in Stara Wieś. (shrink)

In 1990, Bas C. van Fraassen defined the modal interpretation of quantum mechanics as a consideration of it as „a pure theory of the possible, with testable, empirical implications for what actually happens”. This is a narrow, traditional understanding of modality, as possibility (usually denoted in logic by the C.I. Lewis's symbol Î) and necessity >>, defined by means of Î. In modern logic, however, modality is understood in a much wider sense as any intensional functor (i.e. nonextensional functor: determined (...) not only by the truth value of a sentence). In his recent publication (1997) the author made an attempt to apply this wider understand-ing of modality to certain interpretation of classical and quantum physics. In the present text, these problems are discussed against the background of a brief review of the logical approach to quantum mechanics in the recent seven decades. In this discussion, the new concepts of sub-modality and super-modality of many orders are used. (shrink)
