Abstract

Since independence, India has developed a successful public health infrastructure. Availability of such resources in adequate quantities is essential for providing an effective health equation for the population of the country. Despite having an extensive network of healthcare infrastructure, the outcome is still far behind the set goals. Human life is still endangered to enumerable infections and hospital facilities are not up to date. PeoplePeople are unable to choose between the right and wrong at the crucial time of decision-making. Therefore, a lot of reasons suggest that to pull the strings together, a lot of efforts need to be made. Public health institutions play the most important role in creating awareness towards environmental health issues and maintaining basic health practices. Epidemiological studies suggest the pattern, causes, and the effects of health and diseases in defined populations. Therefore, epidemiologists can help in designing new mythologies and help in analyzing the statistical data that could be retrieved from a diseased population. Healthcare meets regarding the needs and requirements of a basic healthy lifestyle could be held often to instill a desire to bring about a positive change. Thus, the society and the healthcare that the population is enduring rather than bringing about effects at an individual level. They would solve problems at a much larger scale and help in bringing about human welfare.
