In the upstream oil and gas industry, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) are often used to enhance access to limited resources and improve competitiveness in the global market. However, a major challenge arises in post-acquisition organizational cultural integration, which can impede the success of this process. At PT "X," the acquisition of PT "Y" and PT "Z" highlighted a cultural gap between a company oriented towards familial values and companies with more professional and structured cultures. Although numerous studies have addressed the (...) importance of cultural integration in M&A, few have delved deeply into cases in Indonesia's oil and gas sector. This research employs a qualitative descriptive methodology with a Soft System Methodology (SSM) approach. The findings reveal that cultural differences, particularly in communication styles and work systems, led to tensions and decreased performance. The study further indicates that the lack of cultural assessment in the early stages of the acquisition exacerbated these issues. The curricula of the undergraduate study programs on Zakat and Waqf management in Indonesia are still in their early stages of development. In this research, we aim to evaluate these curricula using a competency-based approach towards several study programs. Specifically, we compare the needs of Zakat and Waqf management with the curricula of undergraduate study programs in Indonesian universities. To fulfil our objective, we conduct several interviews with the program heads and practitioners. We also propose a particular curriculum for the (...) study programs on Zakat and Waqf management. For this purpose, we apply a comparative research method and engage in qualitative research. Our results show that some competencies are not accommodated in the current curricula to meet the expectations of the Zakat and Waqf management. Agrivoltaic is a system that integrates agricultural activities with the production of solar photovoltaic electricity on the same piece of land. Agrivoltaic systems are gaining popularity in Indonesia since they enable farmers to generate renewable energy while making efficient use of agricultural land. This research technique employs the analytical descriptive approach, which aims to offer a comprehensive description or overview of the topic of study using acquired data or samples without undertaking further analysis to draw generalizable conclusions. An instance of (...) agrivoltaic in Indonesia involves the placement of solar panels above crops to provide shade and minimize water evaporation. Simultaneously, these solar panels generate energy to operate irrigation systems or other agricultural machinery. Nevertheless, the use of agrivoltaic in Indonesia remains restricted and need further investment and assistance from both the government and private sector to enhance the acceptance of this technology in the agricultural industry.
