Religious language in the ritual as the cosmogonic act

Abstract

This article examines the role of language in the cosmology and social construction. The author considers the idea of the sacredness of language in its relationship with the archetype of proto-language or language of Adam, which is derived from such ideal constructs as the World, Universe. It is analyzing relationship speech-language-text in the rite on examples of world religions and Hinduism. It is considering the ritual nature of religious language in analytic philosophy and semiotics.
