Abstract

A married couple, long in the forefront of Christian thought, deepen our understanding of Christian love by discussing it candidly and positively within the context of modern sexual attitudes. Reflecting the recent trends in Christian thinking and offering fresh insights of their own, they stress that man's capacity to love is increased by his humanity, and that it is through this human love that he perfects his love in God.
