Abstract

The aim of the article is the relationship between Lacan and Marx, Lacan and Marxism. The concept of symptom, that is a main theme of Žižek, represents a great occasion to discuss the Marx’s legacy in the Lacanian psychoanalysis. Therefore, the text develops a study of Lacanian interpretation of Marx’s idea of value. From this point, the paper offers an analysis of politics, ethics and capitalistic discourse in the Lacanian device
