Abstract

Lacanian thought has an interesting beam of effects in the realm of philosophy and political theory. The concern of the article is the Lacanian ability to develops a practice of thought that deals with the real and that not to yield to its own desire. The main themes that the paper take into analyse are the Lacanian critique of individualism and of classical political thought with particular concern for the relationships between Lacan and Descartes-Hegel-Heidegger, and between Lacan and modern politics
