On Chinese Thoughts 'Contribution to Jaspers' Idea of Axial Age
Abstract
Jaspers on the "Axial Age" sort of civilization, in large part on a study in human history in China, India and Greece, three kinds of civilization, the manner in which to achieve "unifying" of. The ideas of Confucius and Lao Tzu to reach the ultimate truth in the manner in which, given the Jaspers with great inspiration. This paper examines China's resources in the Jaspers 'Axial Age' during the formation of the concept of the role, and thus that without participation of the Chinese thought, "Axial Age" concept will not occur, are worthy of consideration. In turn, it means the existence of philosophy as a master of Jaspers repeat, Confucius and Lao Tzu's ideas become alive, and thus more in line with the times. On the contrary, it is by means of the repetition of Jasper, the great existentialist philosopher, that the thought of Confucius and Laozi became vivid, thus more adjusted to the needs of times. In fact, China is merely an important part in Jaspers' search for the historical development of world civilizations. By exploring developmental processes of different civilizations in the world, he hopes to consider and reveal the status quo of existence of human nature and to discover the common source and future to a higher degree, so that an even wider base can be provided for his global philosophical idea
