Abstract

The monograph describes the origin, content and reception of Kuhn's interpretations of the Copernican revolution. It is the only one of its kind in the literature on the subject. It removes many of Kuhn's myths, e.g. that he was a very good expert on the Copernican revolution, he well understood the principle of correspondence of successive theories and he accurately described the mechanism of the scientific revolution.
