The Continuity of Religion and Literature: Focusing on the Thinking Method of Daoism in the South Dynasty

Abstract

Southern Taoism developed to form a complete set of memory to think of God, keep quiet in view of the practice of alchemy methods, contains a breath of literary and artistic creation of the heart express written ideas and understanding of the unique, reflecting the mysticism of religion and literature on the pass sense of communion, its profound cultural connotation affected Northern and Southern Dynasties period, a large number of scholars, is a rich and mature throughout the Northern and Southern integral part of literary thought. There were a series of thinking methods of Daoism during the South dynasty period, such as thinking to search for the soul, thinking internally for the soul quiet, which were related to literature to devote oneself on thinking and to write their soul and thoughts, and that reflects the continuity of religion and literature in the illusions. It is significant for us to study the characteristics and reasons of Chinese traditional literature theoretical development in the South and North dynasty
