Abstract

The first half of the previous century witnessed an interesting discussion on dreams, initiated by Edmund Husserl, Jean Hering and later also Theodor Conrad. The paper presents the standpoints of these three authors as well as those of Jean-Paul Sartre and Eugen Fink, shedding some light on certain features of the phenomenon of “dreaming consciousness”
