Abstract

The chapter investigates the strategies of publication in SSH, trying to identify the variables influencing publishing choices. It describes the VQR 2004–2010 exercise and journal articles collected in DB CINECA from 2004–2013. It analyses 49,712 scientific products of the VQR 2004–2010 in SSH, and 12,951 articles published by scholars in SSH in 3157 journals in the period 2004–2013.
