Abstract

This is the third volume of the new critical edition for Hegel’s collected works to appear. With its arrival we can now see how the editors plan to deal with almost all of the problems that they face. For we now have before us a volume of Hegel’s own publications, a manuscript which was almost ready for the printer, and this present volume of fragmentary first drafts and revised versions intended for Hegel’s own use in the lecture hall.
