Abstract

This article intends to show the new elements that start to operate in Heidegger's thought, at the moment, as one reads in The Origin of the Work of Art, that he proposes an intimate relation between truth and art; something unpredictable at the earlier stage of his thought. The article ends with a questioning of Heidegger's conception of art. Is not the work of art made captive, after all, of Heidegger's own conception of truth?
