Abstract

All knowledge, animal and human, is nothing but the more or less conscious expression of the intelligibility of nature. Substance is the object of Realist Metaphysics according to which intelligibility is an intrinsic property of things. Substance is the ultimate natural category both scientifically and philosophically indispensable. There is then no wonder if non-realist doctrines end up by refuting themselves.
