Abstract

O artigo pretende articular a tese de Schopenhauer, de que sua filosofia é antes uma cosmologia que uma teologia, com a hipótese de que sua noção de Vontade poderia ser, heterodoxamente, concebida como uma hermenêutica da Representação. Para isso, enfatiza-se a importância da distinção schopenhaueriana entre ser subjetivo e objetivo e consideração subjetiva e objetiva, bem como relaciona-se a significação da noção de analogia com a articulação entre explicação e compreensão em sua Metafísica da Natureza.The present paper aims to articulate the thesis of Schopenhauer, that their philosophy is rather a cosmology than a theology, with the hypothesis that his notion of Will might be unorthodox conceived as a hermeneutics of Representation. For this, we emphasize the importance of Schopenhauer’s distinction between objective and subjective being and subjective and objective consideration, and relates to the significance of the notion of analogy with the relationship between explanation and understanding in his Metaphysics of Nature
