Abstract

Al esclarecer la pobreza evangélica, San Buenaventura ofrece las claves antropológicas más profundas de su pensamiento. En ese sentido, el punto central de este artículo es distinguir la relación del ser humano con las cosas materiales en la cual se distingue el dominio o propiedad y el uso que se puede ejercer sobre ellas. Esta cuestión es esclarecida al tratar un tema debatido en su tiempo: la posibilidad o incluso recomendación de una opción vital por la pobreza absoluta, que San Buenaventura aborda, además de por motivos teóricos, como una forma de comprensión del espíritu de la orden franciscana, a la que pertenece. El estudio propuesto se centrará principalmente en el escrito Apología pauperum de este autor.
