Abstract

The aim of this paper is to understand the phenomenon of environmental injustice in greater detail. To this end, we begin by clarifying the characteristics of vulnerability and injustice, and then define the phenomenon in question. We will also consider solutions, both in the public and private domains. The focus here will be to highlight the need for climate governance as a way of connecting society with the environment and connecting agents at a global, national and local level, as well as the need for agents to be socio-environmentally responsible in order to achieve sustainability. In the final part of the text, we will make some considerations on how to address the problem of environmental injustice.
