The presidential election campaign in the US in 2012 and 2016: an attempt of comparative analysis

Abstract

The article deals with election programs of the candidates for the presidency of the United States, their strategic plans for domestic and foreign operations. The influence political processes in the US in Ukrainian political life in conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis. US citizens must make a choice between two fundamentally different visions of America’s role in the world: the continuation of its leadership in the world of Hillary Clinton, or return to a policy of isolation with Donald Trump.
