Çocukluk dönemi, diğer gelişim alanları açısından olduğu gibi dinî geli-şim açısından da önemli bir dönemdir. Bu dönemde çocuk, temel dini bilgi ve değerleri belli ölçüde ailesinden alabilse de uzmanların rehberliğinde bir eğitime ihtiyaç duyduğu açıktır. Türkiye’de örgün eğitimde 10 yaşından küçük çocuklara ayrı bir ders olarak din eğitimi verilmemesi, bu ihtiyacın yaygın din eğitimi yoluyla karşılanmasını gerekli kılmaktadır. 2012 yılına kadar ilkokulu bitirmeyen çocukların yaz Kur’an kurslarına gitmesi dahi yasaklanmıştır. Bununla birlikte bu yasağın temelsizliği farkedilmiş ve 2013 yılından itibaren 4-6 (...) yaş Kur’an Kursları açılarak çocukların din eğitimi alabilmesi için bir imkân sunulmuştur. Bu kurslar çocuklarına mensup oldukları dini öğretmek isteyen aileler tarafından yoğun ilgi görmektedir. Henüz kurumsallaşma sürecini tamamlamamış bu kursların varlığının anlamlı hale gelmesi ve devam edebilmesi için buralarda nitelikli bir eğitim verilmesi zorunludur. Eğitim faaliyetlerinin niteliğini belirleyen en önemli unsurlardan biri olan öğreticilerin, bu kurslarda verilen eğitimle ilgili düşüncelerinin tespit edilerek değerlendirilmesi, kursların verimliliğinin arttırılması açısından katkı sağlayıcı görülmektedir. Nitel olarak kurgulanan bu çalışmada Tekirdağ’ın Çorlu ilçesinde görev yapan öğreticilerin görüşleri yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları kullanılarak odak grup görüşmesi yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Ubûdî, who is known to had lived in Egypt at the end of the 16th century and the beginning of the 17th century, is one of the Gulsheni dervish poets. What is known about the life of this secluded poet, whose name is not mentioned in the tazkiras and biographical sources, is due to his work called Menâkıb-ı Ev-liyâ-yı Mısr (Legends of Egyptian Saints). He has another 359 couplet mathnawi on the virtue of knowledge and action, and the ugliness of (...) ignorance and laziness. This masnavi, which will be introduced by presen-ting its text here, has been brought into being with quotations and translations from verses and hadiths. In the masnavi, which has the integrity of the subject, it is mentioned about the virtues of studying science and acting by avoiding ignorance and laziness as a religious obligation. In this article, after briefly menti-oning the life, works and poems of Ubûdî-i Gülşenî, his mathnawi about wisdom and the virtue of action is introduced and evaluations are made about its language, form and content features. In this mathnawi, which was written in a religious-didactic style, the wisdom and virtues of learning are mentioned and advice is given from time to time. In the last part of the article, the text of Ubûdî's masnavi on the virtue of knowledge and action and the ugliness of ignorance and laziness is given, and the translations and sour-ces of the quotations made from the verses and hadiths in the text are presented and the poet's references and references are revealed. This study uses a qualitative discourse analysis approach to investigate Pakistani female politicians' discursive representation in print and electronic media. Specifically, the research focuses on the narratives and framing strategies employed by the media to construct and portray the public image of these political figures. By employing Corpus-Assisted Diachronic Discourse Analysis (CADDA), the study traces the changes in media discourse over time, uncovering how gender biases, societal norms, and power dynamics shape the representation of women in Pakistani politics. The findings (...) reveal significant trends in gendered framing, highlighting how media portrayal fluctuates between marginalization and recognition of female politicians' contributions, though gender stereotypes remain deeply embedded in these narratives. The findings of this study have important implications for future media reform initiatives, advocating for a more equitable and balanced representation of women in politics. The insights gained can also inform gender advocacy strategies and policy efforts to enhance women's visibility and leadership roles in traditional and digital media. (shrink)

In this article we present the first edition of five Hieroglyphic Luwian inscriptions of Ancoz and Samsat provenance from the Adıyaman Museum, provide clarification on the records of previously published inscriptions from Ancoz and Samsat, suggest a join with an existing Ancoz inscription, and offer a discussion on the nature of the rulers of Kummuh.

Araştırma, ilahiyat fakültesi hazırlık sınıfı öğrencilerinin Arapça dersine dair görüş ve tutumlarını değerlendirmektedir. Değerlendirme sonucunda Arapça öğretiminin daha verimli olması için çözüm önerileri sunmayı ve bu suretle ilahiyat fakültelerinde Arapça öğretiminin kalitesinin iyi yönde arttırılmasına katkı sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanın önemi, Arapça öğrenimini daha etkili kılmak için öğrencilerin düşüncelerinden hareketle çözüm üretmesidir. Örneklem olarak Tekirdağ Namık Kemal Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi Hazırlık Sınıfı öğrencileri seçilmiştir. Araştırma verilerini toplamak için Aydoslu tarafından geliştirilen “İngilizce Dersine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” Arapçaya uyarlanarak kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bağımsız değişkenleri (...) cinsiyet, öğretim türü, mezun olunan lise türü ve Arapçaya ayrılan zamandır. 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılı bahar yarıyılında 166 öğrenci-nin katılımıyla toplanan veriler SPSS yazılımı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulardan hazırlık öğrencilerinin çoğunun Arapça dersine yönelik olumsuz tutumlara sahip olmadığı ancak Arapçayı zor bir dil olarak gördükleri anlaşılmaktadır. (shrink)

This study investigates the effect of inclusive leadership on innovation performance with a mediating role of employee innovation behavior and the moderating role of psychological empowerment. Supervisors and employees of Saudi manufacturing firms are the participants of this study. This study used a quantitative research technique with a cross-sectional approach and a self-administrative survey questionnaire to collect the data. The data were analyzed by using the Smart PLS 3 software. The results depict that inclusive leadership has a significant positive impact (...) on the firm’s innovation performance. Employees’ innovation behavior has a significant mediating effect on the association of inclusive leadership and innovation performance. Findings revealed that PE has an important moderating role in the association of inclusive leadership and innovation performance. The findings of this study contribute to the body of knowledge by finding that inclusive leadership has a significant effect on the firm’s innovative performance and PE is crucial to enhance innovation performance. The COVID-19 outbreak wreaked havoc on the hospitality business, resulting in significant layoffs, salary cuts, and unpaid leaves globally. This study uses the sensemaking theory to investigate how COVID-19 induced unfavorable human resource practices affect the link between perceived corporate social responsibility and employee identification and commitment. We tested this model using the data collected from 392 hospitality sector employees in Pakistan. The results reveal that “cut in salaries” and “work from home” positively moderate CSR’s impact on employees’ identification and (...) commitment. On the other hand, employee layoff and leave without pay do not impact the positive relationship between CSR and employees’ attitudes. Furthermore, the study finds that CSR during this pandemic has a significant positive impact on employees’ attitudes. However, this relationship becomes insignificant for employees who reported unfavorable HR practices in their organizations. The finding further reveals that CSR’s impact during COVID-19 on employees’ attitudes is moderated by the different levels of CSR importance in employees’ minds. This evidence is significant since HR practices implemented during this crisis need to be identified and framed to understand the effects of CSR on employee commitment and identification. CSR involvement in the pandemic can help managers keep their employees committed to organizations; only if this charity begins from their internal stakeholders first. (shrink)

The study aims to unfold the linguistic strategies employed by the former prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan in his speech delivered at the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly in the year 2021. However, the primary objective has been to explore the functions these linguistics strategies performed to convey the target meanings to the global audience. Fairclough 3D model has been employed as the framework of this study. Hence, the population of the study included the multiple speeches (...) delivered by the former prime minister Imran Khan to UNGA throughout his tenure while the researcher selected a particular sample of only one speech given in 2021 through purposive sampling. The findings revealed the constant use of multiple linguistic strategies by the former prime minister to portray the positive image of Pakistan in front of the whole world by highlighting the importance of global peace. The issue of “takfîr” (to declare someone as an unbieliever), throughout the history, is one of the important subjects of both theology and Fiqh. It is not only a naming to whom called the “believer” or “unbeliever”, but the issue has been dealt with as a problem that has serious consequences both legally and socially. For this reason, many articles have been written on the subject. Abu al-Fath Muzaffar al-Khatîb’s work, “Alfâz al-Kufr”, is one of the famous works on this (...) subject. This work, through examples of words and behaviors touches on many issues of tekfîr without explaining the methodology of it. This treatise has similarities with other works in the field and it is understood that it was written according to Hanafi jurisprudence. In this study, we have edited this work, based on three manuscripts in various libraries and aimed to introduce it to today's people. The words and behaviors that are included in the treatise, we took them in eight topics. We tried to show comparatively how the subjects were handled in the work.
