  1. Model kosmologiczny (LCDM, CDM) w schemacie pojęciowym efektywnych teorii Wszechświata.Paweł Tambor - 2008 - Filozofia Nauki 3.
In the paper we show that modern cosmology has a status of effective theory of the Universe similarly to the standard models in particle physics. We illustrate that the source of such a point of view is the fact that the complete theory of the Universe (TOE) should be complicated enough to derive observables. The role of epistemological emergence in the context of cosmological models (Cold Dark Matter vs. Lambda Cold Dark Matter) is also investigated. We demonstrate that while the (...)

  2. RL+ Cosmological Model.Paul Studtmann - manuscript
We present a cosmological model (RL+) that offers exact predictions for the Hubble constant, the cosmological constant, the total energy density of the universe, and a curvature that matches current observational constraints. The model predicts a cosmological constant energy density that constitutes approximately 64% of the total energy budget, in agreement with current estimates from the standard LCDM model. Furthermore, the model addresses several longstanding cosmological problems—namely, the problem of infinite initial density, the coincidence problem, and the flatness problem—all (...)

  3. Thinking Out Loud on Early Creation through the Lens of Hermeneutics of Sherlock Holmes (Towards a Model of Universe based on Turbulence-Generated Sound Theory).Victor Christianto & Florentin Smarandache - manuscript
In recent years, apparently the Big Bang as described by the Lambda CDM-Standard Model Cosmology has become widely accepted by majority of physics and cosmology communities. Even some people have concluded that it has no serious alternative in horizon. Is that true? First, as we argued elsewhere, Big Bang story relies on singularity. In other words, when we are able to describe the observed data without invoking singularity, then Big Bang model is no longer required. Therefore, here we explore a (...)

Proces (...)

    The Q-Matrix Anchored Mixture Rasch Model.Ming-Chi Tseng & Wen-Chung Wang - 2021 - Frontiers in Psychology 12.
Mixture item response theory models include a mixture of latent subpopulations such that there are qualitative differences between subgroups but within each subpopulation the measure model based on a continuous latent variable holds. Under this modeling framework, students can be characterized by both their location on a continuous latent variable and by their latent class membership according to Students’ responses. It is important to identify anchor items for constructing a common scale between latent classes beforehand under the mixture IRT framework. (...)

Evaluation of Theories and Methodologies: Relativistic Physics vs. the Dynamic Universe — With Remarks from Physics and Reality 2024 and Cosmology on Small Scales 2024 Conferences.Avril Styrman - 2025 - In Avril Styrman, Paavo Pylkkänen & Saara Wuokko, Physics and Reality: International Conference on Philosophy of Physics 4.-6.6.2024 Helsinki, Finland. Bristol, UK: IOP Publishing. pp. 1-34.
In the classical ideal, a physical theory provides understandable dynamic explanations and yields novel predictions of phenomena. Relativistic Physics (RP), namely the special and general theories of relativity and relativistic cosmology, does not meet the classical ideal. This discrepancy has been addressed by transforming the classical ideal into a ‘relativistic methodology’, where it is accepted that nature is not fully understandable, predictions are prioritized over dynamic explanations, new phenomena may be accommodated in an orderly fashion with the aid of additional (...)
