The nature and essence of the political conflict

Abstract

It is necessary primarily for each study to identify clearly and correctly the object and subject of analysis, to identify actors and participants, describe the boundaries and dimensions of the studied phenomenon. In this article that investigated phenomenon are the political conflicts, problems of researching of which are extremely important at this point in our country and in the world in general. On the political conflict are spread the general characteristics of any social conflict. However, examining the nature of the last ones we can note some features that are exclusively for political conflicts. Political conflict can be described as a clash of political actors with different interests, principles and aspirations, mainly about or for attaining power or its redistributive, for changing the political status in society or for defending their political values and norms. The content of political conflict is a political struggle, based on the overall (general public, nationwide) interests. It is generally determines the principal features that distinguish political conflicts from the other kinds of social conflicts.
