Abstract

O artigo tem por objetivo investigar a apropriação rawlsiana do imperativo categórico de Kant. Entra no mérito da distinção entre o procedimento do imperativo categórico e o procedimento da posição original, adotado pela “justiça como equidade”. Procura explicitar e avaliar a interpretação das formulações do imperativo categórico kantiano, elaborado por Rawls. Por fim, investiga o âmbito do imperativo categórico enquanto procedimento de construção de normas morais.
