Abstract

After modern philosophy, there is apparent increasing conflict between science and religion, and that cases many problems in our lives. Various attempts already have been established for overcoming the conflicts and making harmony between them. According to Whitehead we must make science and religion into harmony since we need providing "a vison of the harmony of truth" Whitehead's attempt for overcoming the conflict between science and religion is to integrate them into a philosophical woddview. For Whitehead, the conflicts between science and religion can be effectively overcome only through the adoptation of a form of naturalism that is satisfactory from both a scienticfic and religious viewpoint. He suggest that the way to do this is to overcome previous exaggerations on both sides, therby effecting a reconciliation involving "a deeper religion and a more subtle science" Whiteheadian world view, has been presented for overcoming the conflicts between them, is often called "process philosophy.
