Abstract

The aim of this paper is to expose impacts of Aristotle’s philosophy of nature on Medieval Philosophy, as explained in his books Physics, On the Heavens, On Generation and Corruption and Meteorology. Each of these works contains a collection of detailed observations on the nature. The paper particularly focuses on the concepts of change and motion presented in Aristotle’s Physics in order to articulate the effects of these concepts in Medieval Philosophy. This also provides an insight to recognize the significance of new physics established by Galileo
