Conditions and Premises for the Introduction of the Thought on the Rule of Law States of Modern Western Philosophers

Abstract

Building a socialist rule of law state in Vietnam is currently one of the most important political tasks in our country. The situation of reality requires that it is necessary to deepen and study the ideas of the rule of law state of modern Western philosophy in association with the historical conditions for its birth in order to apply the system of rule of law ideology into building the rule of law in Vietnam in the current period. With that in mind, with a systematic research method of materialist dialectic, this article mainly clarifies the conditions and premise for the birth of the idea of the rule of law in Western philosophy during the pre-modern period.
