Abstract

Zizek from Marx's "commodity fetishism," the analysis of starting, do not expose the ideological integrity. In his view, "sign" before the symbol as a communication bridge between industry and the real world, build up in the ideological symbol of the seemingly complete the order to open a gap, challenge the ideology of the "real" and therefore "sign" is ideology of the "breaking point." Traditional capitalist society "labor freedom" and "equivalent exchange", the contemporary capitalist society "democracy" and "anti-Semitism" is such a sign. Slavoj Zizek discloses the non-integrality of ideology via Marx's analyses of "commodity fetishism". "Symptom", as a communicating bridge between pre-symbolic universes and real-life world, opens up a gap on the seemly integrated symbol order, which challenges the "reality" of ideology, "symptom" therefore becomes the "point of breakdown" of ideology. This kind of symptom exists in traditional capitalist society, such as "the liberty of labor force" and "equivalent exchange", and in contemporary capitalist society, such as "democratism" and "ant-semitism"
