Abstract

This opening chapter briefly sketches the development of thinking behind this edited volume before then offering a rationale for presenting the relationship between faith, formation and education. It introduces the two-part structure of the book and briefly outlines each chapter in turn by way of offering an overview for the reader. A summary of the key recurring themes that connect and interweave throughout the volume is also provided and this sheds further light upon the chapters as they together reflect upon a Christian approach to faith, formation and education.
