Abstract

This article proves the necessity to go back to the principles of positivism in theoretical sociology in order to have an adequate reflection of problems common to all mankind. An attempt to bring together methodology of cognition in sociology and methodology of natural sciences based on the modeling method is made. Principles and means of construction of theoretical models of social phenomena are considered.
