Abstract

This article attempts to explain the philosophy of Zhu Xi's youth to explore, to "Yanping question and answer" for the text, will focus on "a sub-shu" discussions with a view to understanding the philosophy of Zhu Xi's ideas helpful when mature. This paper attempts to explicate young Chu Xi's philosophical inquiry. In the light of the text, The Correspondence between Li-tung and Chu Xi, I focus on their discussion on "li-yi-fen-shu" . From this, we can understand Chu Xi's later mature philosophy more adequately.
