Attitudes toward the mentally ill: A review

Abstract

This review of the literature investigates how attitudes toward the mentally ill affect their involvement in the community and what can be done to enhance such involvement. The author draws conclusions from research on these issues and makes recommendations for policy based on the findings. © 1978 by the National Association of Social Workers, Inc.
