Abstract

In this chapter the author takes the perspective of the Missionary Benedictines, a congregation with around 56 communities of monks across the world. Based on his rich global experience he argues that first of all leaders have to create more awareness for existing regulations, assess realistic outcomes and understand the necessity and challenges of ongoing and upcoming change processes. Further, there must be more focus on the long-term: Long-term processes with a clear vision have to be launched, shaped, implemented, and continuously tracked regarding their progress.
