Abstract

This is the first in a series of publications intended to create awareness and foster understanding of issues around corruption in public and other sectors of society. Many mechanisms have already been put in place or strengthened to investigate corruption and to ensure that perpetrators are identified: the Public Prosecutor; the Heath Commission; the Auditor-General; the Office for Serious Economic Offences etc. Find out what people such as Judge Willem Heath and Gill Marcus think about corruption, and what strategies are planned to combat this scourge of our society.
