Abstract

Quantum computing has the potential to revolutionize problem-solving across various domains, from cryptography to materials science. However, the complexities of quantum hardware, including the need for highly specialized environments and significant computational resources, have made quantum computing difficult for most organizations to access. Cloud-native quantum computing, which leverages cloud infrastructure to provide scalable, ondemand access to quantum processors, offers a transformative solution to this challenge. This paper explores the rise of cloud-native quantum computing, focusing on how cloud infrastructure facilitates the deployment and execution of quantum algorithms. We examine the benefits of cloud-based quantum computing, the challenges it faces, and the role of cloud service providers in advancing quantum technologies. Additionally, we explore the synergy between quantum computing and classical computing, emphasizing hybrid quantum-classical systems. Finally, we look ahead to the future of quantum computing in the cloud, outlining emerging trends, research opportunities, and the potential impacts on industries such as finance, healthcare, and logistics.
