Abstract

The professionalization goal inside the 2001 Quebec reform of teacher’s training is not a simple principle determining direction and organization of teacher education curriculum. It is also embodied in a teaching model. For designers of teacher education curriculum, be a professional teacher is above all be heir, critic and interpreter of culture. Therefore, a professional teacher is primarily a cultivated teacher.
