Abstract

Le journal de Lucile Desmoulins est un petit livre plaisant et original. Le journal lui-même, dispersé au XIXe siècle, est bref. Il est aujourd’hui composé d’éléments très épars, rédigés entre 1788 et 1790, et souvent obscurs. On sera déçu si on espère y trouver les secrets intimes du célèbre couple révolutionnaire ou l’écho détaillé des événements politiques. Seul un extrait relate la nuit du 10 août 1790.
