Abstract

A sociedade contemporânea tem como característica a imensa e diversificada variedade de culturas. Neste contexto a filosofia encontra um desafio profundo, a saber, buscar os invariantes conceituais que possibilitam interpretar a unidade no conceito. Neste artigo, abordaremos a problemática da interpretação filosófica da cultura numa tentativa de elucidar, filosoficamente, os invariantes conceituais presentes em todas as culturas, propriamente investigando o conceito de cultura na interpretação do jesuíta Henrique Cláudio de Lima Vaz, S.I.. Primeiramente, perguntando pelas características filosóficas da cultura e sua composição em pluriversos culturais. Depois caminhando em direção a um questionamento sobre a ontologia, o lugar da filosofia e a constituição do ethos. Para finalmente apontar caminhos, que se configuram como desafios, a toda interpretação filosófica das culturas.: Contemporary society is characterized by the immense and diverse range of cultures.
