Abstract
1976, the year of the Twenty-fifth Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the first year of the Tenth Five-Year Plan, has come to an end. The Twenty-fifth Party Congress has immense historical importance for our country, for the world socialist community, and for all progressive humanity. The course plotted by the Congress provides for uninterrupted growth of the country's economic power, improvement of socialist societal relationships, and our further advance toward communism. The time that has elapsed since the Congress has persuasively demonstrated the validity of the socioeconomic program and the direction of foreign policy it devised.
