Abstract

With his book, the author presents a nuanced and critical-constructive study of the "New Natural Law Theory", which has received little attention in German-speaking philosophy. However, it is certainly worthy of discussion, because it is not only systematically very demanding and interesting, but also controversial and polarizing, especially with regard to its restrictive sexual ethics. The aim of this book is to defend the "New Natural Law Theory" in its core. At the same time - based on its own natural law premises – it shall argue for a less restrictive, but much more liberal sexual ethics.
