Abstract

The paper to be presented deals with the research presented at the Central University of Venezuela to qualify through the ranks of university to the category of assistant professors; and that is the basis of the doctoral thesis presented at the Doctorate of Humanities at the same university. It aims to reflect our pedagogical praxis from two notions: Love and knowledge, to find possible answers to the liquid society, where love and knowledge be passed goods. To do this, I assume theoretically from the philosophical-pedagogical theory and interpretative-phenomenological method from the complexity of Morin, proposing a reading that is based on the knowledge loop philosophy-history-pedagogy. It also has a reading from the point of synchronic and diachronic historical perspective, that under the moriano following method allows recursion on the interpretation of phenomena, sustaining me philosophically hermeneutic circle also proposed by Heidegger. A reading from Walter Benjamin, where the “old” and “new”, “past”, “future” is translated as the past is the future going forward and back is included. All these aspects of the method together with the theoretical, let me set the general objective: To interpret the notions of love and knowledge in the development of Western philosophical and pedagogical thought from antiquity to modernity under an educational-historical-philosophical perspective, to understand the formation of human beings. Coming to the need to continue the process of thinking-us-us and reflect philosophical and pedagogical, and in my case from my Umwelt specific training. This research work is part of the line: “Classical” in the philosophy of education. The recovery of traditions, the III Latin American Congress of Philosophy of Education.
