Abstract

Palavras-chave : discurso imaginativo, “ficto”, irrealidade, “logos”, realidade, silogismo poéticoThis article investigates the relation between Alfarabi and Xavier Zubiri. It tries to answer the following question: the poetic syllogism falsifies reality or rather, is reality in fiction? This question expresses the dilemma of whether the imaginative faculty goes beyond the real or if, on the contrary, is forged in the real . Other questions that can be found in this article are: Does the poetic syllogism may state something about reality? What logic underlies Zubiri’s concept of ficto? What kind of inclose continues to “ir-realize” the reality and show it as an imaginative discourse? Thus, Zubiri and Alfarabi have more common aspects that it would appear in a first approach. Both try to show what kind of imaginative discourse is provoked by the poetic images. Keywords : ficto, imaginative discourse, ir-reality, logos, poetic syllogism, reality
