Abstract

El artículo pretende dar cuenta de la emergencia de nuevas propuestas epistemológicas de las ciencias sociales en América Latina. En particular, se recogen los avances de la perspectiva de la complejidad en la investigación social de nuestro continente. Asimismo, se discute sobre el carácter del conocimiento social que se viene construyendo en Latinoamérica.This article aims at giving an account of the emergence of new epistemological proposals of social sciences in Latin America. Particularly, it reflects the progress of the prospect of complexity in social research in our continent. It also discusses the nature of the social knowledge that has been built in Latin America
